Hi everyone, Thanks for taking the time to check out our Better Workplace Toolkit. This past year has been an extremely challenging one. Navigating the pandemic hasn’t been easy personally or professionally. Increased stress. Moving and changing schedules. Spontaneous shifts to remote work. Cultural and political strife. It all kind of piled on. To push through, businesses and teams have been forced to evolve on the fly. And now, we’re starting to realize that some of those changes have been for the better. People want the freedom to work remotely and set their own schedule. They want transparent companies that take a stance on social issues. They want to work somewhere that supports their growth and aligns with their values. This isn't temporary. It’s not going away when we all get vaccinated. At Unito, we’ve done a lot of learning in the past year. To try and meet the changing needs of our team, we introduced optional four-day workweeks, changed into a hybrid organization, started a diversity and inclusion squad, and more. The journey is far from over, and we’re constantly working to get better in these areas. But the changes we’ve made have really made an impact on our team and our culture. That’s why we compiled this free toolkit. It’s why we’re sharing some of our own internal documents alongside resources from external experts in each of these areas. We hope that it can help even one business build a better workplace for their employees. Please let us know your feedback. This is a living collection of resources and we’re hoping it continues to grow and expand in the coming months.
