We all know what we should do. We just don’t do it. Mom Clock is a strict reminder and app blocker for people who keep negotiating with themselves. No snooze. No “just five more minutes.” No pretending. When it’s time, distractions are blocked and action is forced — like a mom standing behind you, watching. Built for procrastinators who are tired of disappointing themselves.
The hardest part here isn’t blocking apps, it’s breaking self-negotiation.

I love products that solve real everyday problems in such a simple way. One question — how customizable are the alert tones and schedules? For example, can I set different tones for different types of reminders (e.g., bedtime vs. chores)?

This sounds like a time management app that forces you to stick to a schedule, similar to the Chinese També et pot agradar. I hope the Android version comes out soon so I can try it out.
As someone who's tried every focus app, the "no snooze, no pretend" rule is what most lack. My only worry is context: blocking everything during a creative flow might backfire. Are there preset "deep work" schedules, or is it purely manual timer-based?
This hits home! After 25 years running (emphasis on running) a nonprofit, I have learned that I sometimes needed to be reminded just to STOP and RELAX for a moment. This would feel like it gives me permission to do that instead of feeling like, heaven-forbid, I was slacking off on something that needed to be done. HA!!

You know what would be nice, if this app could connect to something like Alexa or Google Home, and put the kids in line all around the house :D
