I came at app development sideways. Maybe I shouldn't even be here. But we're on the threshold of something new and we ALL should get to be here. I'm squarely (and proudly) Gen X. Degrees in English and history, but my career lay elsewhere. My son has cerebral palsy. Volunteering and advocating for him led me down a different path. I have spent 25 yrs. leading a nonprofit. I've been so blessed to have experienced the incredible feeling of knowing I was the right person, at the right time, in the right place, to make life a little better for someone else. It's why I built AptiBuild AI, to help people discover what they can build with the skills they already have. I'm still leading my org, but looking ahead, excited that AI also gives us the power to make life better for someone else.
