nice! might try and switch from 1password after chromium extension is there. where can I follow the updates?
Jeffrey Fulton
@igor_march Thanks Igor! Look for Minimalist on Twitter, Reddit, and of course you can send us an email to be notified personally! hello@minimalistpassword.com

I really like the design, there’s so many ugly password managers out there. But I personally don’t have a use for password managers that don’t work between Mac and PC, are you considering adding support for Windows?
Jeffrey Fulton
@sweeetjd Unfortunately no, Minimalist will be Apple only for the foreseeable future. Thanks all the same!

@jeffreyfultonca Congrats on the new product. Certainly great timing and happy to see another Manitoban product (if you're still here, that is). It's not clear to me, is minimalist another frontend to Apple's native-managed passwords or does it have a completely separate database and runs alongside Apple's iCloud keychain passwords as a separate provider, like 1P does?
Jeffrey Fulton
@jacobgorban Thanks Jacob! Minimalist has a completely separate database and runs alongside Apple's iCloud keychain passwords as a separate provider.

Does it come in dark? If not darkmode is needed for my eyes integrity :D
Jeffrey Fulton
@atomzwieback @larrymcj Thanks Larry! We've had some requests to make dark mode darker, like true black rather than the shades of grey currently used. What do you think?
Jeffrey Fulton
@atomzwieback @larrymcj Thanks Larry!

Hi @jeffreyfultonca ! I love the design, the name, and the philosophy of "made for Apple because we use Apple". I'm a geek about Apple (like having the Apple logo in my shorts 🤣), and I agree with the idea to exploit the ecosystem of Apple native functions. Just one BIG pain: Chrome. I can't use Safari for my work because I need the multi-profile system of Chrome. I have a lot of identities. So I need a password system integrated with Chrome on Mac to fill passwords and 2FA passwords instantly. As soon as you include this functionality for Chrome, you will hear my "Shut up and take my money!"... Congratulations on creating this app. I think you're on the road to match the needs of a lot of people like me. A little piece of "more info": I used LastPass for a while, and I was comfortable with it. I felt secure (I think this is a must-have feature) and the UX was not a big problem. I moved to 1password because of the feature of auto-filling 2FA passwords. Not having to take the phone for copying and pasting 2FA was a breakthrough. But something like certificates and Wifi still stored in my apple keychain. Having all integrated with all functions would be great. I'm excited to see that with Minimalist. Have a nice day!
Jeffrey Fulton
@vicampuzano Thanks Victor! You're not alone in requiring Chrome support. It's probably our most requested feature right now. We're considering it more and more each day.

Does „integrated“ mean it'll work with any browser on our devices?
Jeffrey Fulton
@pasdoer In short, no, at least not yet. Minimalist AutoFill is built on Apple's AutoFill system which has many security and privacy benefits over dedicated browser extensions. On iOS this means virtually all browsers are supported: Chrome, FireFox, Brave, DuckDuckGo, Edge, Opera, and probably many others. On Mac unfortunately, it's currently limited to Safari only.

Nicely done. Enpass user here always looking for options to tune up this area of my life. If you ever drop cross platform (Windows inc) let me know… 👍
Jeffrey Fulton
@snakecharmer Will do, thanks Paul!
