What are your top resources for being on watch of AI?
News in the tech world gets old quickly. It's no longer relevant in 10 minutes.
What helps you quickly navigate the world of AI?
I caught the latest news about AI from:
– trend topics in the Bluesky or X feed. (Eg. Amazon Layoffs)
– or from Product Hunt forums ( @fmerian posted today about OpenAI just acqui-hire Cline)
– or larger media, such as
– Yesterday discovered this AI subreddit – Codex
– HackerNews
What other sources would you recommend to me?
It can be an official online magazine or personalities across social media. :)

@aima Usually, after a couple of minutes, large messages immediately post about the changes that were made. I think this happens on all social platforms.
Kalendar.work
@ixord 100%
@aima I'm pretty much the same. I did create a news aggregator at https://dailytrending.info but I need to do more work on the pipeline to increase the quality of articles chosen.

@bradshannon Oh this is like drudge report. What did you use in building your website? Feels smooth.
@aima Thanks! I built it with a few AI tools (Claude Code/Web, Codex, Gemini) and it is 100% hosted and runs for free on Github Pages. All of the daily AI tokens come from the daily free tier limits of several providers (Groq, etc). There's a lot more I can do, but this was a fun start.
Same, and I'd like to follow builders, not just commentators. The signal is sharper.
Kalendar.work
@zypressen the wave of commentators is terrifying, like comment on anything to grow the account... I mean numbers are good though but... I guess it's the hustle anyway.
@aima Yeah… when “hot take” becomes a growth hack,
silence starts looking like the luxury.

@aima Do you have any specific accounts on mind? I want to follow them too.
Kalendar.work
@busmark_w_nika Honestly no specific account I depend on, the alog pushes bits and pieces to me and then if something piques my interest I just drill down. Apologies for responding so late every one. Our launch is on going and it's been a really long day.

@aima Hopefully that your launch went quite well :)
If we’re talking about AI, for me there are only two reliable options.
Twitter/X. There are 3–4 accounts that are constantly up to date. I can recommend the following users who create great content and are always current: Chubby♨️ and TestingCatalog News.
Newsletters. There are 4–5 newsletters that come out daily with everything new and relevant. Of course, TheRundown and Superintelligence. The latter especially also includes cool analyses, so I seriously recommend it.
If we’re talking about tools, of course, Product Hunt.

@byalexai Thanks Aleksandar, this is helpful
@byalexai Thanks! I subscribed!

@byalexai Thank you – the mentioned resources are new to me, so definitely going to follow them! :)

I use twitter mostly but I kinda hate it.
At this point I should build an arxiv watchdog and a bot that keeps an eye on the market.
Scrolling hurts the soul.
I'm particularly interested in the technical developments and what's becoming possible
minimalist phone: creating folders
@build_with_aj any particular accounts I should be on watch?

@build_with_aj Wow! :D I have the whole list, you are awesome! Thank you! :)
@busmark_w_nika I used to be on TechCrunch, Gizmodo, etc, but I got really annoyed with the smug, arrogant writers and commentators. I used to comment regularly, but then stopped. Eventually I just quit visiting altogether. I may need to give them another try.
minimalist phone: creating folders
@bradshannon What did happen on these platforms?
X, TechCrunch, HackerNews, but I'd be curious to start following actual builders! Do you have anyone in mind on LinkedIn or X, for example?
minimalist phone: creating folders
@andreitudor14 I am here for the same reason, honestly. I found some people artists in AI, but it is not completely what I am trying to follow.
SubscriptionFlow
If you mean latest updates on AI then follow some handles on X related to AI space.
minimalist phone: creating folders
@subscriptionflow Can you name any specific?
Love this roundup! 🚀 I swear by The Batch newsletter for no-fluff AI research recaps, and I’m obsessed with following Andrew Ng on X for his no-BS take on trends. Also, the r/Local LLaMA subreddit is chef’s kiss for anyone into DIY AI projects. What hidden gems have you found lately?
minimalist phone: creating folders
@vivianzheng I found mostly in the AI art industry, like these:
https://www.linkedin.com/in/davidarthurclark/
https://www.linkedin.com/in/olga-sheira/
https://www.linkedin.com/in/blairvermette/
Can you name any specific subreddits related to AI?
Scade.pro
mine is my team, we daily discuss AI news, so it's inevitable to know all the buzz news, even if you are not following anything yourself ;) I love it. The second is Reddit, my absolute favourite platform conserning everything related to AI and SaaS in general. I usually read r/ChatGPT because it's not only about LLMS but covers lots of other AI topics, and I really love r/HiggsfieldAI, because the community shows new possibilities in AI video generation.

@nastassia_k This is so cool, definititely will have a look at Reddit (Hopefully, they will not kick me out from their subreddits) :D you know, it is harsh :D
