I built a tool to accomplish this for myself because I found no single tool to help achieve this, and other methods require a lot time and/or money to set this research up. What tools do you use?

Looking to see what everyone uses surveys for! From what I've seen, its usually product feedback but I want to see if I've missed anything interesting

If you rely on just weekly user calls, users may not remember a lot of things that they experienced in the product during that week. If you rely just on asynchronous feedback, users may not submit it I've heard there are some tools now to help with this like Canny Wanted to know what you guys have tried that's worked best?

As per free tools, I recommend Posthog - Mixpanel. Both of these provide insights into your product usage and user behavior to help you make data-driven decisions and improve your products. Posthog is targeted to roles closer to web development or software related backround.
