Which pricing model is working for you?

For years, SaaS pricing revolved around seats.

If you're adding more teammates then pay more.

This was simple, predictable and scalable.

Do you think AI will make people's real relationships sadder than they are?

Just yesterday, there was talk about how younger users should be protected from manipulation by AI.

Today, on the other hand, I read that OpenAI CEO Sam Altman announced that ChatGPT will soon allow verified adults to engage in erotic conversations.

Questions & insights on B2B Request a Quote for WooCommerce

Hey Everyone,

We're working on the B2B Request a Quote for WooCommerce plugin and wanted to open up a discussion with the community for feedback, questions, and insight. Whether you're a WooCommerce user or part of a business dealing with bulk order and custom pricing, we'd love to hear your thoughts!

What AI-native features could make Product Hunt even better?

I have been a Product Hunt user for 5 years now, and it's been amazing to see how much the platform has evolved.

That said, I sometimes feel the absence of AI-native features. Things like smart filtering of fake profiles during the signup stage, automated link health checks on launch pages, or even an AI-driven support assistant (remember the old chat widget?).

What was your 1st product?

Sometimes I have a problem to have a look at my past milestones or things I have achieved so far.
When I think about it, even creating my first product was a success for me. I ve always been a bit shy and afraid to show what I was working on, or I just didn t know how to present it properly, so it took me a really long time.

My first product was an online workout program with a payment gateway, and the monthly price was ridiculously low. But I managed to monetise it and had my first customers. I was probably around 20 at the time.

  • What was your first product?

  • What would you do differently to maintain it and make it successful?

  • What lesson did you learn from it?

Which activity within the Product Hunt launch brought you the most engagement?

By engagement, I mean upvotes, comments, shares basically anything that helps your product get to the top of the voting.

Do you have an overview of which tactics were most effective in this regard?

🔥 How long is your streak?

Mine s at 858 days and it s personal.

Currently sitting at 858 days which puts me at #29 on the Product Hunt streak leaderboard.

Which topics discussed on Product Hunt spark your attention the most?

Do you notice which topics discussed on this platform make you think, and you like to contribute your 2 cents?

I don't mean that you generate an AI answer for the topic, but that you enjoy discussing the topic like a real person.

It’s FriYAY! Work, Play, or Sleep?

Finally, Fridayyy! After a week of launching, building, and probably way too many Zoom calls, I want to know, how are you spending the weekend? Are you the "" "" type, squeezing in more work and side projects? Or are you all about , , ? I am thinking of taking a break, maybe catching up on a book (or sleep ). But be geniune, I ll probably end up brainstorming the next big thing.

What do you think about DeepSeek?

Is it a good news in the notoriously under-discussed AI climate impact topic? We didn't witness AI losing its job to AI. We witnessed AI getting more useful while spending less money in the process. Which is a great thing. Humanity might've found a climate-conscious way of building AI models. Now just make one that can talk about Tiananmen Square as well as the Spanish Inquisition.

🏆 And the winner is… Unicorns Club! We won the Golden Kitty Award! AMA!

I still can t believe this is real. 6 people No venture capital A crazy idea we refused to give up on And now Product Hunt just put us in the same league as billion-dollar startups. This is surreal. A dream. That moment of HOLY SH*T, did we actually do this? Unicorns Club a tiny team of just six people, backed by a single angel investor, no VC money just won a Golden Kitty Award. And not just any award, but the one that placed us alongside OpenAI, Google, Figma, Mercury, Notion, and other giants. A year ago, this was just an idea. No big budgets, no seasoned startup team. Just a handful of people who believed the startup world needed a better way to connect founders and investors. To everyone who voted, supported, signed up, and believed in Unicorns YOU are the reason we made it. Ask me anything!

[ChangeLog] September 2 Changelog — Draft Launches and Scheduling Updates

This Wednesday, we'll be rolling out an update to the submission flow. Historically, at the end of the submission flow, you could either Launch Now or Schedule for a future time. Going forward though, we're going to replace the Launch Now option with a new Create Draft option.

This change is based on consistent feedback we've gotten from Makers who either accidentally launched their product too early or who wanted to be able to see a complete version of their launch and collaborate with their team on it before scheduling.

Creating a Draft

Creating a draft will give you the opportunity to see a complete version of your launch without needing to select a launch date. It also means that you'll be able to share and collaborate on the launch with your fellow Makers, something that's not possible when the launch is in the submission flow stage. These new draft launches won't be indexed on the site, so you don't have to worry about others finding it. Whenever you're ready, you can schedule the launch for the date of your choice.

Have you ever sold something, before it was built? 🤔 👷

I always built the bare minimum product before trying to sell it. At least, when it is possible. What have you done? Curious to hear!
