Whoever cracks agents that configure stripe and help navigate AWS billing is gonna be rich, filthy rich. I wonder if all of this can be done with an API or if it needs to be browser actions.
Building AI Agents? Me too. Let's set the bar. I'd be impressed if one could do Stripe integration

It's been extremely helpful in learning how to position a product. it has to be concrete and understandable immediately. People hate on the It's product X but for Y formula but it works for a reason, because our reasoning is associative and synthesizing from two or more concepts is a good way to learn something new. If I told you I was building Notion for Churches and Pastors you would get it...

Is a linux build on the horizon?
I just switched to OpenSUSE after windows kept messing with my touch pad drivers to the point where I had to reinstall them every day to somewhat fix the issue. I've been a heavy Linux user on and off since 09 and have hopped all the distros. I might try to run the Windows version of Tonkotsu with WINE or even Lutris, but I am unsure of how that will go. I don't know if there will be a linux...

Polar.sh I head about it months ago from a sponsor read on a youtube channel I like. I was building a b2c app and I was not pleased with lemonsqueezy and their lack of clear guidelines and feedback when reviewing. So I remembered polar. Great DX, easy to integrate, only downside was stripe for withdrawing, setting it up that is. What made me a fan was their customer support answering all my...

The dichotomy is false most of the time. I don't want either, each stage of the process gets different zoom levels. If I'm running a security audit I want details, I want line numbers, snippets, diagrams, I want to deeply understand why something is vulnerable. It's context dependent and situational all the way down. For work that is well specced, I don't need that granularity in coding, I need...

Loving the privacy angle, and as a a developer (amongst other things), I will definitely use this for end to end testing when international numbers are required. Fair pricing, clear and explicit. I want to see more products like this. And I'm bookmarking this one for when I build my next app. Or when I buy a used car lol. Seriously, the marketplace angle is hella useful. Thanks for building this!

If I were doing a large scale project, https://taiga.io/ Better than trello, better than jira (that's not a a high bar tho) I don't usually have that many tools, I if something has a good sdk or api I build the rest myself. Taiga has an excellent DX

I hate when finance apps cannot connect to my banking apps. It's a problem for customers outside the US mainly.

I don't care about the performance penalty. Firefox is my go to when I need to interact with things such as linked in. For everything else I've been loving Waterfox. I also recommend Librewolf if you don't mind having to use a password manager such as bitwarden. Ungoogled-Chromium is something I wish to highlight. it's there when performance matters.

This is the dawn of a new age in the market. Agent Infra as as service. Handling compliance, security, and reliability, solving the self hosting headache with a managed approach. Even the most technical person can appreciate that sometimes we pay for the convenience and peace of mind more than the product. Could I self host openclaw? Absolutely, it would take time, effort, and I'd honestly have...

Mostly Claude Code and Opencode but I will be building my own. With laser focus on my needs and requirements. Claude code gets 55% to 60% there with major homebrew and lots of tweaking and certain concessions. Gemini CLI leaves a lot to be desired.

Mills as in machining equipment? I think stablecoin based financial services that focus on being tax compliant would let local businesses take crypto without the regulatory nightmare.

Above a certain level of wealth this question loses relevance. Below that I'd calculate the opportunity cost of the time invested vs running a side business or doing work for pay in those hours. There is also the startup mindset to consider, the "team spirit" factor. It it likely you will be expected to invest more time and effort than originally planned, as such you might want to de risk the...

When I searched for freecad in here I was shocked. No one had hunted it. Perhaps mechanical engineering is niche here, nonetheless FreeCAD deserves to be seen and appreciated. They work tirelessly to provide open source Parametric modeling capabilities, FEA capabilities, and much more. I've used Freecad for a while and I come from the solidworks school of things, they are taking massive leaps...

Joined the beta test, the other link on the github is broken. I left my review already but it's worth saying again. This app is great and I wish it all the users. It works well, the UX is beautifully simple, and it doesn't get in the way

SaaS has its place, the value was never just software, it was two fold. Responsibility/liability management: Keeps data safe, guarantees correct results on reporting etc. Productized Domain expertise. Software was the vehicle. The new positioning is an evolution of the previous one. A problem solved faster than you can solve it yourself, with no maintenance headaches. In house building attempts...
