If you're not actively using a dating profile and simply want to play matchmaker, the app is always 100% free to use. Having an active dating profile grants you two complimentary matches and allows you to send up to 10 messages per chat, all free of charge. @beefriedman hey Bee, thanks so much, we're delighted you like the concept of the You Match Them dating app/game :) The YMT score represents the total votes for a potential couple. When a couple achieves a score of 20/20, they will become a match, get notified, and be able to start chatting through the app. If the score for a potential match is currently 15/20 and you click the No button (the X icon), the score will decrease to 14/20. Conversely, if you click the Yes button (the heart icon), the score will increase to 16/20. Every time one of the buttons is clicked, a point (i.e. a vote) is either added or subtracted from the total score. If the score is 0/20 and you click the No button, it remains 0/20. The process continues until the majority of voters vote Yes and bring the score to 20/20, resulting in a match. True democracy in action!

Hey! Just stumbled across 'You Match Them' and all I can say is, it's like being in an episode of a rom-com series where your friends have gone rogue, trying to play cupid in the real world. @rrhoover Hey Ryan, thanks for your vote! I believe you're referring to Tinder Matchmaker, which, while also related to matchmaking, is quite different. Matchmaking has been around for almost as long as civilization itself, but the You Match Them app makes it fun, engaging, and modern :)

@sankeerth_julapally hey Sankeerth, yes sure. If you have activated your dating profile, you will start earning YMT Credits when you help match others. The more time you spend matching potential couples, the more YMT Credits you will earn. Think of the YMT Credits as a currency that you can use to purchase YMT Boosts with. If you don't have enough YMT Credits in your balance to pay for the boosts, you can purchase more boosts from the YMT Store in the app. A YMT boost is equivalent to 100 YMT Credits. Each time you boost your dating profile, we will show it faster to more members for 1 hour.
