What's great

Been praying for the Gantt chart feature to come back for three years and finally!

I've been using Xmind for over 5 years for my consultation work and even family event planning. The project management feature will really make my life easier, instead of moving between apps. Kudos team!

What needs improvement

Wish there were even MORE shortcuts for easier use

How intuitive is creating and rearranging nodes and branches?

It's xmind's strong suit. top notch in the industry. I've been using different mind mapping tools such as Freemind, simple mind, Mindmanager, Mindmeister and Miro and stuck with Xmind.

How well do real-time co-editing and comments work?

fantastic for collaborations

Do AI smart edits maintain your tone and structure?

Yes but the AI can have better tuning.

What's great

This is definitely the best mind map tool I have ever used. As a designer, I particularly appreciate its UI and interaction design. It has never disappointed me.

What needs improvement

I am always struggling with the hotkeys like "Drag" or "Zoom in/out", because I also use other design apps, I wonder if there is a way to change the hotkey.

Are export formats (PDF, PNG, OPML, Markdown) high quality?

Not really, it's takes money to export without watermark.

Does team space management fit your organization’s permissions?

I don't know about this question

How helpful is onboarding, tutorials, and customer support?

I find it quiet helpful, nothing hard to know.

What's great

I've always struggled to move from brainstorming to action. This tool finally bridges that gap, turning my messy mind maps into clear projects plans. Simple, fast and feels like it truly understands my workflow.

What needs improvement

I start every project as a mind map, it's how I think best. Then AI helps me shape it into a real plan I can track. No fluff, just focus.

does most things I wanted it to, but difficult to access web app at times. Loses connection to dropbox, onedrive, Icloud. Have to keep reconnecting it.

Amazing app and really easy-to-use! It has all the things I need to create a neat, functional, and clear-cut mindmap. Also, it's almost completely free, and the small watermark for the free download is not pesky at all, but actually gives a sense of credibility. Great all around!
