@rrhoover oooh a few come to mind Karma — 4G for reporters on the go — https://yourkarma.com/invite/asacmv Black Menu — gives you easy access to Google products right from Chrome — http://carlosjeurissen.com/black... F.lux — makes it easier to write/work at night — http://justgetflux.com/ TeuxDeux — my favorite ToDo app — http://teuxdeux.com/

@danoshinsky For a todo app check out Tier5 www.tier5.co Let me know what you think. I feel that it would come in handy when looking for someone in a specific industry or someone that has expertise. Cheers.

@rrhoover tools I use... mention, topsy, buffer, feedly, and writebot. (how come I can't @mention Dan Oshinsky on here?)

Hey! I send this thing out twice a month with great stuff — kinda geared towards reporters, but I try to make it useful for anyone who tells awesome stories.

Email + product discovery for a specific audience. It's no surprise I love this concept. How do you decide which tools to promote, @danoshinsky? We have several reporters/journalists on Product Hunt that might dig this. e.g. @carmeldea, @ryanlawler, @beccabigwords, @chrisdannen, @thealbumproject.
Dan Oshinsky
@rrhoover I'm always asking readers what tools they REALLY need, and I try to find stuff that'll help solve their problems. For instance, last week's tool — http://otranscribe.com — came after a few dozen emails from reporters desperate for help transcribing interviews.

@danoshinsky smart! What's your favorite product so far?

+100 for F.lux. That moment when the screen dims ~5:30pm. So relaxing
