I really didn't expect to have this much fun playing Terraria. I picked it up for my Kindle Fire HD for free about a year ago and tried it once, but didn't care for it. Now with the latest patch, 1.3, it is a much fuller game experience. I have purchased it for PC and play it on a private server with my wife and friends. It has been non-stop fun. I love co-op games and Terraria fits that excellently. I suggest getting the game for PC because it is way easier to play with a keyboard and mouse. There are also mods for the game on PC.
