This is amazing! Imo the fastest way to actually learn to speak a language, also builds confidence from the comfort of the app. When I moved to China in 2017, I didn’t know a single word of Mandarin. By being forced to speak to locals and order food I was able to say most of the basic phrases within weeks! I will definitely use PrettyPolly to learn how to speak German now 🚀 Congrats on the launch 🤘

If you want to *learn* to speak a language, PrettyPolly is much more powerful than other popular B2C language apps such as Duolingo, Babbel, etc. Awesome to see this launch on PH - big fan (:

Hey @cwbuilds1 Congrats on the launch of PrettyPolly! Funny I learnt French in high school but abandoned it after Year 9 - I just thought I was terrible and couldn't get it! Since then I've always said I am terrible at languages! I've not attempted learning another language until recently. Me, my wife and siblings have decided to learn Korean (we are hooked on Korean TV 😅). We have been on the look for something that would allow us to speak and conversate as a way to learn rather than the traditional approach. PrettyPolly seems like exactly the kind of thing we were looking for. Any thoughts on adding a friends feature at some point? Would be cool connect with other people learning the same language and conversate, follow each others progress and maybe even some gamified aspects like allowing users to take on AI set challenges (solo or against friends)?

@sean_t94 Hi Sean, thanks for the comment. Korean is one of the languages we support, so hope it can be useful! A friend feature could be a really good idea. I'll have a think about how that could work and let you know when we add it. Thanks again!
