I thought I was “good at prompting.” Turns out I was just patient. Pretty Prompt makes you fast. If you’re a beginner, it’s an instant level-up. If you’re a pro, it saves you an absurd amount of time and mental energy. The Chrome extension is the killer—one click, better prompts, across every LLM, without changing how you work. Add the prompt library and team features (different hats, shared prompts, actual structure) and it quietly becomes part of your muscle memory. Take it away from me now and I’d be genuinely annoyed. This is one of those rare tools that feels obvious in hindsight—and indispensable a week later.
I didn’t really shop around. I saw Pretty Prompt, tried it, and that was it—no turning back. It solved the exact problem I had in about five seconds, and once it was in my workflow, everything else just felt slower and more awkward by comparison.
Instead of you having to think:
“Okay, I need to define the role, give context, specify tone, set constraints, outline the output format…”
You just write what’s in your head:
“Help me write a clear email to a customer about a delayed delivery.”
Pretty Prompt then restructures that into a well-formed prompt behind the scenes. It typically:
Infers the role the AI should take (e.g. “You are a customer support manager…”)
Adds context and intent (“The customer is frustrated about a delay…”)
Clarifies outcomes (“The goal is to reassure and retain them…”)
Applies structure (“Write a concise email with a calm, professional tone…”)
So your messy human thought becomes a clean, machine-readable instruction.
You don’t have to learn “prompt engineering.” You just think normally—and Pretty Prompt translates that thinking into something the model can execute properly. That’s why it feels like magic: you’re not getting smarter, you’re just removing friction between what you mean and what the AI understands.
Yes—team collaboration is one of the quiet superpowers of Pretty Prompt.
Teams can create, save, and share prompt templates so everyone is working from the same playbook. That means best-practice prompts for things like sales emails, product specs, support replies, strategy docs, or “founder vs marketer vs operator” modes can be standardised and reused.
In practice, it does three valuable things:
Consistency: Everyone’s outputs sound aligned, even across different roles.
Speed: New team members ramp faster by using proven prompts instead of reinventing them.
Quality lift: Good prompting becomes a shared asset, not something locked in one person’s head.
It turns prompting from a personal hack into organisational infrastructure.
I haven't been on long enough yet to notice
Pretty Prompt has quietly become one of those tools I did not realize I needed until I started using it daily. It turns rough thoughts into clear, well structured prompts in seconds, which consistently leads to better AI responses with far less back and forth. The browser integration feels natural, the one click improvement actually delivers on its promise, and it saves a surprising amount of time across ChatGPT and other AI tools. It feels polished, practical, and genuinely useful rather than gimmicky, and once it is part of your workflow it is hard to imagine going back to writing prompts manually.

It's amazing to read these type of reviews, especially when they include things like this:
Pretty Prompt has quietly become one of those tools I did not realize I needed until I started using it daily
Thank you so much for the review and for spreading the love for Pretty Prompt and prompting in general!
This is an integral part of my tech stack. My understanding and ability to create useful prompts that provide context and personas is solid, but who has the time. This takes the time, pain and consistency issues out of creating prompts and does exactly what it says on the box, creates pretty prompts. Have been a user since the team launched on producthunt and have been a paying customer for the last few months.
as mentioned before in a thread, it would be great to have a native app for this for desktop to reduce the context switching aspect of the generate prompts in browser and using said prompt for things like VS Code and other native AI applications versus purely web based text filling.
What an amazing review, I'm so happy to read that Pretty Prompt is an integral part of your tech stack! This is the dream of any founder. We're currently working on the idea for the desktop app and I'm looking forward to hearing your feedback and thoughts soon. I used to spend endless hours trying to determine the best way to ask GPT questions, often ending up with unsatisfactory answers. Now, with Pretty Prompt, I have the confidence that every time I pose a question, it enhances my inquiry, delivering the best possible response. This has not only saved me time but has also improved the quality of my outputs, making me look great in the process.
more integrations with multiple tools
First and foremost, the outstanding reviews I encountered while searching for a tool like this truly impressed me.
The results produced after the impressive capabilities of the prompt are on an entirely different level of quality.
yes i do belive you can do that
looks like they are working all the time to improve the platform
Awesome review! We're working hard to add more integrations and AI platforms to the tool! (14 new integrations are currently in the making 🤩)
Love to read this:

Thank you and as always, any feedback let us know!
I absolutely love this tool. It take my often rambling voice inputs, and turns them into well structured prompts that often deliver what I'm looking for with one shot. It integrates so well with all of the LLMs and agentic tools (tools that rely on prompting) that I use. Before I had it, I had no idea what I was missing out on. Now that I am a regular user, I can't imagine doing without it. Love to see this awesome team and amazing hack here on Product Hunt.
Pretty Prompt is honestly such a joy to use. It is simple, quick to slot into how you already work, and it makes the whole process of refining prompts feel fun rather than like another task on the list. I really like how you can keep tweaking, nudging, and adjusting until you get exactly what you want out of it.
What impresses me most is how early it is in its life, and it already feels this polished and useful. You can see the potential for where it is going, but even right now, it has earned a permanent place in my workflow. If I could drop in the Futurama Fry “shut up and take my money” meme here, I absolutely would.
Yes, you can tailor/refine your prompt by using their set questions, or by manually doing this
It saves me a lot of time as i now do not have to refine my own prompts for most general use.

I purchased Pretty Prompt from AppSumo a week ago, and so far, I love it! It has significantly reduced the time I spend writing accurate prompts and has helped me achieve high-quality results.
The only improvement I would suggest is to have the option to stay logged in. Every time I open my browser, I have to log in again, which is not the case with other Chrome extensions.

Thanks for the review! It's amazing to hear how this helps both work related prompts, and personal ones!
It doesn't just make your prompts better, it also makes you a better prompter.
Thanks for putting it into words and sharing it with the world! Here's to more prompting, and better prompting with Pretty 🤩
I found Pretty Prompt at AppSumo and it has been one of my happiest investments. Great outputs and I like the improve choice. I have used up about 60 credits on various subjects and the prompts have all been thorough. I will take the prompt and pop it in Claude, deepseek, chatgpt and get much better results.
There was an AppSumo deal for it and it had high reviews.
yes. and th eplugin on chrome works.
I don't know
I have not tried that
Thanks so much for such great review! We're super obsessed with user feedback so this means a lot to us.

I've started using pretty prompts almost a month ago, the quality of outcome is insane when compared to what i'd have written without it. It's not only a better tool but a teacher as well because it teaches you how AI thinks if you pay attention to the improved prompt. In the long run, it can replace explainable AI agents! Well done to the team behind this power!
This tool is a first mover in the market and worths a shot!

Pretty Prompt
This is fantastic Erdem! Thanks for sharing!
