Pestle helps you take just the important bits from the recipes you love. Forget the 3 page story and focus on what matters, the ingredients, and the steps. Scale recipes up and down, convert units, start unlimited timers, and a lot more!

Hey everyone! I'm so happy to be able to launch Pestle! Pestle has become a staple in my kitchen, and I hope it can become one of yours too! With Pestle you can build your own cookbook, scale recipes up and down, cook with people from around the world with SharePlay, start unlimited timers, I could go on, because there is a lot more you can do, but I'll let you discover it on your own. Pestle Pro is on sale for $5 for the Lifetime unlock until the end of January! Alternatively, with code PRODUCHUNT you an get 50% of Pestle Pro for the year, usually $9.99 down to $5, in case you want to support me yearly :) I'd be happy to answer any and all questions you have too :)

This looks very cool and has many good features. Typically, whenever a recipe scraping service pops up, the recipe owners are pretty quick to try and get it shut down as it leads to loss of Ad revenue for them and takes users away from their sites which is understandable since it is their content. Pestle adds some good stuff on top of just the cleaned up recipe so it'll be interesting to see if it can go the distance. Good luck with it!

@ichillidesign Totally understand this concern, and it's one I was very aware of myself during development. I've seen other similar services fail because they actively distract from the originating website. Whereas Pestle has you visit the website, load all of their ads and such, before you can save it to the app. I also encourage users to go back to the website after cooking something to leave a review (there's a one click 'Visit Original' button after you finish cooking). I also do not store copyrighted content on my server, such as recipe photos. Hopefully all this combined is enough to convince recipe authors that Pestle is trying to worth with them, not against them.

Great idea, and very useful. Can't wait to try it.

This is such a wonderful idea! Recipe websites have become user hostile (burying the recipe in SEO-laden blog content). Love all the little details you've added on top of the basic recipe extraction. Linking the ingredients, setting timers, etc. Downloaded and will need to find something to cook with it By the way there is a small typo in your video ("instance Device Sync" -> "Instant Device Sync")
