💎 Pixel perfection
As an initial launch the product is still pretty well rounded! I have enjoyed adding a few quick shortcuts to frequently used sites!
The element selector is straight forward to use and well thought out! It makes adding a shortcut easy.
I can't wait to see this project progress, for the documentation to be completed and for the introduction of multi-key shortcuts (as I couldn't use the extension on Discord as they intercept single key commands).
Defo worth a download, and worth keeping an eye on this project.
Great work @prakhartiwari0 💪🏼💗
Congrats Team My Web Shortcuts on your impressive launch on Producthunt! This extension is a total game-changer, simplifying navigation like never before. A small suggestion, it would be great if you could incorporate an easy-to-use shortcut guide or cheat sheet within the browser until the user masters using the extension. Once again, kudos on the innovative concept! 🎯🚀👏
Thanks for your feedback @manmohit!
Are you talking about a user guide or something? Please clarify

Congratulations on the launch of My Web Shortcuts! 🎉 Reminds me of a vim chrome plugin, but that's very complicated. But this open-source extension is a brilliant innovation for enhancing web browsing efficiency and user experience. The ability to create personalized keyboard shortcuts for any website is a cool idea , especially in our fast-paced digital world where time and ease of use are of the essence.
Righly said @qiufeng, we always needed this kind of tool but I am not sure why it was never created. I wasn't very hopeful in the starting, but now after reading everyone's feedback, I'm inspired to take it to the next level.
Happy Shortcuting :)

@prakhartiwari0 I thought of an IDEA , I wonder if it could work with some of the great AI chrome plugins of the moment, where you have an option when setting up shortcuts to bind to evoke popular plugins. Of course this is just a preliminary idea and needs further research.
@qiufeng Unfortunately, a browser extension can't access other extensions. You can check if those extensions have an option to set a shortcut for some of their functions in chrome://extensions/shortcuts

@prakhartiwari0 Perhaps you could expose a unified trigger interface, which would allow other plugins to listen to your events to trigger their evocation.
@andresolarte Thanks! Please share your feedback after using it :)

💡 Bright idea
Good:
- Finally solves that age-old issue of websites requiring mouse clicks to perform anything useful.
- Works offline (you hardly find this feature these days)
- Config can be backed up just by copying the browser config directory (good for rolling-release Linux users like me)
Can be added
- Option to backup config, for users who can't copy ~/.config
Overall it's a great extension that does what it says :)
@sayande717 yes the feature to import and export data will be available from the next version.
Thanks for your feedback, glad to know it's useful for you :)
Happy Shortcuting :)
