What do you think? …

Hey everyone! This is a side project I've worked on to get my feet wet with AI assistants. Currently, the app is only available on Testflight for IOS devices. Depending on reception we'll make it available on Android as well. My mom is a therapist and I noticed how many people call her just to chat or get something off their chest. MindGuide isn't built to replace a licensed, personal therapist. But I think having a tool in your pocket to get ideas from and talk with could be helpful!

I just tested the iOS application and I think it's great to be able to separate the uses of LLMs. However, the medical usage attributed to your app makes it a distinct product with certain responsibilities, such as user privacy. That being said, since you are prioritizing the bio functionality which I don't find necessary, is it because the information is used to provide more context to the AI in order to better profile the user? Otherwise, it's a superb app with a very simple and easy-to-use interface. I'm just waiting for the official version to be launched so I can take a look at your privacy policy… Congratulations on your launch and good luck moving forward!

Pretty cool! Have you thought about analyzing the writings to get an assessment for the state of mind?

I agree, sometimes we just need to chat! Going to try this out

I'm curious how you manage potential liability. With the unpredictability of LLM's and all the various "jail breaking" prompts that people come up with, are you concerned with it giving bad or even dangerous advice? I really like the idea of something like this for quick tips or ideas is great, but the requirement of self-reflection to use something like this well might be precluded by the type of person that needs it most. How have you approached this?
