What do you think? …

Samuel Briskar

Meetify is a fantastic tool for scheduling real-world meetings! Its integration with Calendly and Google Maps makes it super convenient. 👍

Dan Rutledge

@samuel_briskar Thanks. Actually, we currently have integration with both Google Calendar and Microsoft Calendar for your calendar scheduling. The mapping uses a service provided by HERE, which is much more economical than the super price Google Maps API.

💡 Bright idea

Hybrid coordination is a game-changer!

Can I set location preferences (e.g., "quiet cafes with outlets") like Meet's niche filters, but for physical spaces? This would be gold for remote workers!

Dan Rutledge

@desmond_ren1 Hey, Desmond. Right now, you can search for spots to meet by general area, between two people, food type, price range, and dietary restriction. And there are a few miscellaneous options like if you are looking for coffee you can choose whether or not to include Starbucks or Dunkin' or to prioritize local coffee shops. This year we plan to add info on parking and seating along with reviews. Outlets are a great idea that I love, so thank you for that suggestion! Basically, as we get more people using the platform, we can gather user data on the locations that will continue to improve the way you find locations. If you have any other thoughts as you check it out please let me know. Really appreciate your support today on the launch!

Amazing product - quick question, can you see the reviews of the place when picking it? Couldn't see that in the demo, it would be a cool feature

Dan Rutledge

@dev_singh Great question. We don't have reviews integrated quite yet, but 100% agree that they would be helpful and hope to add them soon. We'll start with existing reviews from a provider, but would like to have our own user reviews as we hit scale as they could be more specific to items related to in-person meetings (seating, parking, noise-level, for instance). Right now we have some information on each restaurant like hours open (automatically checked against your meeting times), price range, food type, plus web address and contact info if you want to research the specific place.

very cool. when ipo.

Dan Rutledge

@maxcomx Hahaha. Thanks, Max, but not quite ready for that yet. Currently we're just really thankful for any feedback as people use it so we can concentrate on refining the product.

Ica Lestari

Congratulations on launching Meetify! It’s exciting to see a tool that integrates scheduling with location selection for real-world meetings. How does Meetify ensure the best venue recommendations based on user preferences and past meeting experiences?

Dan Rutledge

@ica_lestari Hi, Ica. Thanks for the note! The person planning/inviting is the one that is finding the possible locations to offer their invitee. They can search geographically by specific area or between two people, plus they can filter by type of food, price range, or dietary restriction. And there's a few other tweaks you can do. For example, if you are looking for coffee you can choose whether or not to include Starbucks and Dunkin' in case you want to focus on local. You can also create a favorites list of places that you frequent for quick access in future meetings. Basically, there's a lot of flexibility because we have found almost no in-person meeting is alike. Sometimes you know the other person is busy and you need to find locations near them. Sometimes you want to split the driving distance. Sometimes you want to offer options with different types of food or price ranges because you don't know their preferences. So we've built it so it handles a lot of scenarios. Great question and hope that helps!
