hello Hunters! πŸ”« Today is a big day for us 🀞 We’re launching June AI: the power of SQL, automatically generated, in June πŸ’œ Product analytics was complex, so we made it easy. As time went by, our customers repeated to us they loved our simplicity, but they also wanted more flexibility. What if they want to know how many users they have on average per company. Or which users didn’t use their product this week, but did last week. These questions were too specific. June simply couldn't answer them. A startup gets a great level of flexibility when it writes its own SQL queries. But like any language, SQL needs to be learned. So we imagined what it would be if June could write SQL for you. Introducing June AI - the only way to answer product questions using your favorite language: English. Write a question about your product in plain English. June AI returns the answer and the right visualization for it. You can view and edit the SQL query if you want. And save your favorite queries to make them available to your team. Using GPT-4, June AI provides anyone the power of SQL, with the familiarity of writing prompts in plain English. We can't wait to see what you do with this! πŸ’œ To join our beta you can head here: https://june.so/ai

Congrats on the launch, I love amplitude but june.ai is looking sexier and sexier. You are creating some serious FOMO
Enzo Avigo (πŸ“Š june.so)
@matthieurouif thanks for the the sweet words! Photoroom is so slick ✨ Amplitude is nice for B2C, June is for B2Bs ✨
Dan Hopwood
@matthieurouif @enzo_avigo interesting – mind expanding on how you see Amplitude being particularly well suited to B2C and June B2B?
Enzo Avigo (πŸ“Š june.so)
@matthieurouif @dhpwd sure, typically B2Cs want to understand at scale how their product is being used: which flow users typically take, which buttons get clicked the most, experiment variants (also A/B test). B2Bs usually don't care about that. They want to understand if an account activates, retains and monetizes. They want to understand at a glance the mix of feature an account needs to use to be successful. They work hand in hand with success and sales teams to make accounts successful. This is what June lets you do out of the box πŸ€— These are just a few examples but they should illustrate the difference already. Hope it makes more sense!

June AI sounds like a game-changer for product analytics. Congrats on the launch! How well does the GPT-4 integration handle complex or multi-part questions in plain English? And are there any limitations or specific guidelines users should follow while framing their questions to get accurate results?
Enzo Avigo (πŸ“Š june.so)
@mehdi_rifai we're training the modele at the moment, and hope to get to insane results anytime soon. So far I would say it's "great" but can be improved. Regarding guidelines we're trying not to limit people too much and see what they come up with. But we're thinking about introducing them in the coming days, great question.

@enzo_avigo thank you for your answer!
It seems like a powerful tool for anyone who needs to answer complex product questions. And love that I can save my queries. Congrats on the launch! πŸš€ πŸ†

Amazing to see how scary queries became simple questions! Way to go @enzo_avigo and team! πŸ’™
Enzo Avigo (πŸ“Š june.so)
@mervecankizcoruh right, we still show you the query if you want to see how it works, or if you're a SQL lover and want to edit it :)
