Who can we confide in without feeling judgement? How can we find community in others similarities? Internet Confessional allows people to respond to the same prompt daily and find that we really are more connected than we think.

πŸ™Œ Hey PH Squad! πŸš€ One of my favorite things about the internet is having shared experiences. Learning that someone across the world might be having the same thoughts or feelings as you. At Internet Confessional we wanted to find a way where user data can be used for community rather than for profit. We share our ideas and feelings on a prompt and read through what else the community is thinking or feeling. We delete old answers, don't require any login information, and do not ask for any user info (we only keep track of cookies/IP for spam purposes). Thank you for checking out our launch and for your support! 🫢 Eden

Hi Eden, I absolutely love your product, especially because my sister once had a similar idea. πŸ˜„ I'm really drawn to the purpose behind your product and the sleek, minimalistic design. However, I do have a suggestion regarding the name. Have you considered removing the "internet" part? I feel like it might be just as impactful without it. All the best for your launch. Cheers, Lukas

@lukas_neubauer Thank you for taking a look, Lukas! That's a good question! I was torn between Internet Confessional or something like confeshnl.app but honestly the lack of domains available were a big part of it :P

@entreeden I understand! Recently, I came across discussions where people expressed frustration with a website called make.com. They had trouble finding what they were searching for on Google because the name is just a verb. πŸ˜„ This goes to show that a name is important, but the product itself is a hundred times more important. And I appreciate that you emphasize the right thing: building a great product!

Love the minimalist design, @entreeden. The prompt also decrease the friction to contribute. How do you decide what to ask?

@rrhoover Thank you, Ryan! For right now we accumulated questions that I've found in a therapy/psychology book that I've found that therapists ask their patients (also some random ones from ChatGPT that are a little spicier to see which has more traction)

My favorite thing is that I don't have to give my personal info or create an account

This looks like a great idea and beyond confessions it could serve as a fantastic writing prompt for writers who are stuck or just want a regular exercise to unleash their creativity on the keyboard!
