What do you think? …

Felix Newport-Mangell

Great idea, well executed Rafa! This is something I've been wanting for a while to catch and record those thoughts that pop up now and then. Sets the groundwork for some insight generation down the line, and I really love that you've got this working on-device only for now.

By the way, nice job getting that sense of urgency in the early adopter lifetime free access ;)

@fxnm thanks! It really does help a lot to write down quick thoughts and have them recommended back later. I used to either write and forget completely or not write at all.

Yeah, you got me 😅

If you think of any ideas or run into any bug, let me know, I'm always available!

Love how iglu makes journaling so easy and quick! The thread recommendations are genius. The intelligent recommendations in iglu are incredibly helpful, great job!

Congrats on the launch, Rafa! 🎉

iglu looks like a beautifully thoughtful take on journaling — love the concept of micro-entries connected in threads, and the use of on-device semantic AI is seriously impressive. The privacy-first approach (no accounts, no servers, iCloud backup only) really stands out — especially in an era where most apps feel data-hungry by default.

The intelligent ‘Explore’ tab sounds like a really delightful way to rediscover your past self without having to dig manually. Looking forward to trying it out — this might just become my new go-to for quick daily reflection. 🙌

Wishing you lots of love from the PH community 💙

@williamrobertscott thanks for the kind words! Your comment was spot-on, you got it!

One of the most important things that journaling apps fail to do is exploration. Users want to write, but they also want to revisit. And the game changer here is passive exploration (i.e. recommendations). Sometimes you don't know what you're looking for. That's the best way of going back in time and making the process fun/engaging.

Thanks for the feedback! Once you do try it out, feel free to come back and tell me your experience! I'd love to hear it.

This app truly is something special—it’s become a small but meaningful part of my daily routine, a place where I can write freely, without judgment or pressure, and just let my mind breathe for a moment. In a world that moves so fast, having a quiet corner to pause and be vulnerable truly feels like a gift. It doesn’t ask for perfection or polished words—just honesty; and somehow, even the simplest thoughts feel valid once they’re written down. If you’ve been looking for a space to check in with yourself, to reflect, or simply let go of what’s been weighing on you, I genuinely can’t recommend this enough!!
