Best ROI I've ever seen from a SaaS purchase. At the time I first discovered it, I wanted a platform that would make it easy to connect with my target audience on LinkedIn. Nothing I found anywhere else made the process easier or delivered at a higher success rate. In fact, more than once I've had to pause my campaigns because I was scheduling meetings out 3-4 weeks, with no breaks in between.
Early on when I had questions, I was pleasantly surprised how receptive the chat service team was. Nothing felt AI generated. Instead, they asked thoughtful questions about my particular use-case and, as a result, came back with clear, actionable answers.
As a SaaS marketer myself, I know that a brand's long-term success is about building earning the trust / love of its users. Closely has done that for me and more. Count me among its biggest fans.
I would love it if the search function for my existing network was more robust. There have been multiple times in my networking efforts when a connection is looking for help in a particular area. And when I can't remember the name of someone I'd want to refer, it would be nice to have more search options to find them again.
At the time I purchased it, the base model came packed with so much more that others were charging for.

Then, when I found how easy it was to use -- combined with results beyond what I'd hoped -- it solidified the decision in my mind. It's a really good, well thought-out, high-value product, for which I think Closely deserves major credit.
I'm a bit old school in that I either craft my own simple messages or leverage Chat-GPT directly to customize my messaging. I do love, however, the ease of Closely's messaging personalization variables. I've used them to great benefit.
I've never had a problem with the platform in the year or so that I've been using it.
I purchased mine via AppSumo, so the pricing and upgrade tiers were perfectly clear. At the time I didn't need more than a seat for myself so I didn't need to scale.
I really love Closely, because I can create campaigns to start connecting with people on LinkedIn and automate a follow-up email campaign without having to do it manually. Closely follows LinkedIn protocol and I have never been banned. Personally I import my leads from Sales Navigator and create the campaign from Closely. It is quick and easy to use, the customer support team is fabulous. I can also validate emails and take my campaign off LinkedIn. The trackers are really useful. You can track how many connections are sent. I would say, though, some features need improvement. Closely is my go-to tool for messaging on LinkedIn.
The lead data on the campaigns are a little confusing. It would be great, when you click onto the messages from the campaign, that just the messages from this campaign show up. The tags are awesome, but It would be great, if you could select and de-select the tags when searching your network (i.e. Negative leads, that you can put them into a different folder....)
I don't know any alternatives, but with Closely I can have automated message campaigns on LinkedIn with or without having to get their email addresses, that is all I know.

Love this tool. Great to help with automating outreach and drip campaigns. Helped me grow my network and business page following. Not to mention this can help with the job search and personal networking. Support is extremely responsive, understanding, and willing to help when things go wrong. That is probably one of the best features you can offer, as I would have left had it not been for your great support staff.
Have never been able to access all my leads that I have captured just the individual lists. Last time I checked the extension was removed from the Google App store. Have had SW issues in the past and the information on leads is missing info or inaccurate. Lots of manual and back and forth effort to bring in the lead data captured into the campaigns.
Not as complex to use, easier to understand out of the gate. Great beginner tool. Not outrageous in cost.

issues accessing my total leads, as sometimes when gathering them, the list crashes and I can't access my totals to grab them and add to a group.
The tool is very easy to use. Connecting to LinkedIn is difficult, but this is due to LinkedIn's own security mechanisms.
Features such as being able to send messages to contacts already added to your network are missing. Workflows could have more features, not just messaging, viewing profiles, liking posts, or sending emails. I miss being able to automatically add comments, automatically reply to comments privately, etc.
The program usually reads emails well. Phones, not so much.
Yes, it can be used by agencies with a good interface.
They never respond via chat. Everything is done by email within 24 hours.
Closely is a great intuitive product. I really like using it.
AND... Most important --> Their support is awesome!!! Most of the time in minutes, friendly and to the point.
