Been using one GPT desktop app but it had limited features. Interesting take with inbuilt agents, will try it out, great job @tim_carambat!

Congrats on the launch, @tim_carambat! šŸŽ‰ AnythingLLM seems like a game-changer for those of us who want a powerful AI assistant without the typical hassle. I love that it's fully local and private—perfect for keeping sensitive projects secure. Plus, the integration of AI Agents and data connectors should make workflows seamless. I'm all for anything that takes away those tedious setup steps! Can't wait to give it a whirl and see how it performs against the usual suspects. Cheers to your dedication over the past 2 years; that's some serious commitment! šŸ”„

This is awesome, congrats! Your idea is admirable, I think it is a great idea. How did you come up with this feature?

Running an AI assistant on a personal desktop sounds intriguing but with privacy risks of local AI tools and the accuracy of the built-in LLM heavily depending on how updated its training data is, this might not be as seamless as it claims, I'd be cautious about relying entirely on it for productivity without more comprehensive reviews, what do others think.

I get that you're trying to make an all-in-one desktop AI app but did you consider how most of us already have our preferred AI tools, why should we switch, also does it really run everything locally or are there hidden data transfers going on, trust is a big issue with these things these days isn't it, I mean have you thought about making it more modular, like allowing users to integrate only the AI tools they really need or want and maybe work on the interface a bit, it looks kinda dated
Tim Carambat
@alexashum What about the interface is dated specifically? Also, it does integrate with your preferred tools already, so you don't have to redo everything or swap to a model you don't want to use. I don't see how the trust comment plays into this. It's all on your device already and the code is open-source. Not sure how much more trustless it can be
