No more diving into complex DOM structures or writing fragile XPath expressions. Just specify what data you are scraping from the web with natural language-like queries, and AgentQL handles the rest.
Congrats, @shuhao_zhang! 🎉 AgentQL sounds like a game-changer for web automation. The ability to use natural language for scraping will save so much time and effort, especially with constant UI changes. Excited to see how this evolves and enhances productivity for all the Makers out there! Let's upvote and support this journey!
Hi Alex, thanks for the support! We’re really excited to see how the developer community will leverage AgentQL and can’t wait to hear everyone’s feedback.
Congratulations on the launch, very cool idea, good job by you and your team.
Can I use your product for test automation with tools like selenium?
best wishes.
Hi, Majid! Thanks for the kind words! Absolutely, we've seen others like Heal.dev use the power of AgentQL to enable test automation. As for other tools, we currently have an extension to the Python Playwright SDK, but have existing plans to expand to other languages and tools, and if you'd like to help get things set up with Selenium, please feel free to reach out to us over our Discord (https://discord.gg/agentql) to get the conversation started!
Hi Majid, thank you! Glad you like the idea. Yes, the AgentQL SDK is designed to be flexible and work alongside web drivers like Selenium and Puppeteer. We’ll be open-sourcing it soon, so you’ll be able to easily add Selenium as an extension. Stay tuned!
@bo_lei Thanks! We’re thrilled you think so. AgentQL is definitely built with web crawling in mind, making those use cases faster and more efficient. Can’t wait to see how you put it to work!
@yc_j Thank you for your interest, let's connect on Discord!

This sounds amazing!
Is this tool able to detect AI generated content and keep it out of result sets for data reliability purposes or are there plans to add this in the future?
@eugene_spektor That's a good question - the query syntax is flexible enough to provide enough context that filters out unwanted content. such as:
{ jobs (sales position only)[] }
Can you share the specific web site that has AI generated content?

@shuhao_zhang I was thinking along the lines of verifying reviews on products from sites like Amazon or Alibaba.
@shuhao_zhang@eugene_spektor Interesting use case! The tool currently does not detect AI generated content, but what you can do is extract the relevant content (Amazon / Alibaba reviews) using AgentQL and afterwards plug them into your favorite AI detector tool. This is something we may consider in the future, so thank you for this feedback!
