Can a Product Manager ship a real website end-to-end today without handoffs?
This was a deliberate experiment inspired by my CTO. I wanted to test a simple question:
Can a Product Manager ship a real website end-to-end today without handoffs?
Here’s the stack:
@Figma → structure, hierarchy, & visual components
@Adobe Illustrator → brand consistency & visual components
@ChatGPT by OpenAI → positioning, copy angles, objections
@Lovable → iterate layouts before committing
@Cursor → turn ideas into real UI fast
Here's how i did it
Day 1: define positioning and structure.
Day 2: launch pages live, iterate in real UI on local machine.
Day 3: tighten copy, clean visuals, and ship!
Why this matters to me as I work in a fast-growing startup:
Product marketing shouldn’t be blocked by handoffs.
Vision is more powerful when it’s shippable.
PMs can now go from strategy → interface → live artifact.
I'm Curious:
Should PMs be expected to build real marketing surfaces now?
Where do you draw the line between PM, PMM, and builder?
What tools are collapsing your workflow the most?
Let’s chat.
