We are launching Typeless for iOS, ask me anything!

by

Hey Product Hunt community! 👋

This is YUKI from the Typeless marketing team.

Let's be honest: mobile typing is broken. We lose ideas because typing feels like too much work. We delay replies because it's tedious. We fight autocorrect, fix typos, and hope our messages don't sound rushed.

This is why we built Typeless for iPhone—AI voice dictation that transforms how you communicate on mobile.

What it does:

🗣️ Speak naturally, get polished text instantly. Just talk—no commands, no "um"s, no filler words in your final text.

🤖 AI Auto-Editing: Our intelligent processing transforms casual speech into polished, professional writing in real-time.

📱 Works in every app—Messages, Slack, Mail, Notes, WhatsApp, everywhere.

🌍 Supports 100+ languages with automatic detection.

📚 Personal dictionary learns your unique vocabulary—names, terms, brands—and never forgets.

🔒 Privacy-first: zero data retention, everything stays on your device.

We’re launching on December 24th and would be incredibly grateful for your support, upvotes, and comments. 🚀

Check out the Typeless home page, give it a try, and let us know what you think! ✊

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Try Typeless for iPhone and let us know what you think. Your support and feedback would mean everything to our team.

@yuki1028 Hi Yuki. Does the quality of transcription depends on the language? I'm interested how well it performs with French, cause the spelling here is a bit more complicated imho
And does it distinguish dialects?
I've read some reviews on your previous launch, and got excited, want to try an app

@olga_scry Hi! Olag. Great questions about language support!

Typeless handles French really well—accents, spelling, grammar nuances, all covered. It auto-detects languages and adapts to regional accents effectively.

Plus, you can add French-specific terms to your personal dictionary for better accuracy.

Try it out and let me know how it works for you! Would love your feedback. 😊

Hey Olga, I have been personally using Typeless for about 25 days, and I can say that it works great!

I am from Brazil, and my native language is Portuguese, but I use it more in English than Portuguese, and it works like a charm.

It is accurate and performs well, so I think it's going to work well with French, too.

@olga_scry  @tuliosousapro Thanks so much for sharing your experience!

Really appreciate you chiming in about Portuguese and English—that's super helpful for Olga to hear from an actual user. That's what we like to hear! 🚀

Hi, I'd love to try Typeless for iPhone, but the app isn’t available in Slovenia.

Any chance of making Typeless available in Slovenia in the App Store?

If you're not ready, I'd be willing to beta test it in TestFlight.

I've always hoped that Typeless could provide real-time captions. This is an even bigger priority for me than my mobile requirements, especially since there are already many similar tools available on mobile.

You guys are doing a great job with accuracy and multilingual recognition, which is the primary reason I chose your product. However, I still find myself switching back to the macOS's built-in dictation whenever I need to produce long-form content.

I prefer seeing the text output in real-time to help me pace myself. Since I can quickly format and reorganize long fragments later using shortcuts, real-time feedback is essential for my workflow. I believe there is significant room for improvement in your user experience regarding this specific feature.

On mobile, real-time performance is becoming standard, as several competing products already offer it. While the system's native voice input is sufficient for basic needs (where long-form expression and high accuracy are less critical), the competitive landscape is now very intense.

To stay ahead, I believe you need to:

1. Move beyond simply filling gaps between platforms (like mobile vs. desktop).

2. Think more clearly about how to truly differentiate your product.

3. Focus on creating a unique value proposition, as the competition in this space is now massive.

I find it quite difficult to identify any points of differentiation. Looking at the features you mentioned, nothing really stands out or offers much of a surprise.
