Hello! 👋 We are very excited to share with you Supernotes 2 – including 100+ new features and improvements to our fast and reliable note-taking + knowledge-sharing app. My co-founder (@acnebs) and I work together remotely from London / Bali and have built Supernotes entirely ourselves – design, code, marketing, support – you name it, we’ve done it! We set out to build a note-taking app that reflects how we think. We don’t think in files & folders – we think in bits and pieces of interconnected thoughts. On Supernotes these thoughts are represented as notecards, which are themselves nestable, taggable and linkable. Our goal is to help people build more meaningful and useful connections to their digital knowledge. With Supernotes 2, we’re taking a big step forward in making that vision a reality with the introduction of many highly requested features, like: 🧑‍💻 Dedicated Apps – for Mac, Windows, Linux, Android and iOS (subscriber-only early access) 📝 New Editor – we’ve completed overhaul our Markdown / LaTeX math editor 📆 Daily Collection – for daily journalling and tracking your progress 📰 Broadsheet View – view your cards like a broadsheet newspaper 🕸 Graph View – visualise as a 3D and 2D graph view Get started for free now – all our features are included! Or if you’d like to support us and get a headstart with Supernotes, we are currently offering 30min 1-on-1 onboarding calls with our Unlimited Yearly Plan – grab it now for 25% off. Free your thoughts! Tobias

@twhetton Congrats on the launch Tobias! Supernotes looks quite cool! I wonder how do you build more meaningful and useful connections?
Tobias Whetton
Thanks @mervecankizcoruh. What you would have previously written as one long Word document or Notion page, on Supernotes our interface prompts you to break it down into 10 or so notecards. By breaking your knowledge down into smaller chunks this offers a lot more possibilities to connect it together – we often compare it to building something out of lego. e.g. If you take notes in meetings, you might write a 'takeaways' notecard at the end of each meeting and tag it with #takeaways. If you want to review your month all you have to do is click the tag, to apply a filter and see all your takeaways from all your different meetings alongside each other.

@twhetton Sounds reasonable. Thanks for the answer. We also emphasize building meaningful connections at Producter — that's why I was curious about it. It becomes hard to fill in the blanks for users when they read "meaningful connections" :)

(@acnebs @twhetton Congrats! Looks like a really useful product. I am an avid note taker but I am yet to figure out the best way to organize everything. I think this might be it!

Supernotes is simply the best note taking app that there is out there! I am doing a PhD in biomedical engineering, and I use it extensively every day to summarise papers, organise tasks and pipelines, write codes, and keep track of what I’m learning. The user interface is so easy, elegant and straightforward to use, and they’ve thought about everything one needs to easily record and share ideas. Simply well well done

I’m so excited for this release ! I love this app, it has been amazing for my studies (Im a masters student studying film at Oxford university). I am constantly researching for my course and coming up with my own ideas and concepts. Supernotes has been incredible for organising all my thoughts, keeping track of my class notes, and my research. I never thought I’d find something so easy to cater to my brain!!

I've switched from Google Keeps to Supernotes over the course of the last year - the use of markdown was the initial attraction, but the UI just keeps getting better and better, and at this point all of my notes are on Supernotes! I've also been lucky enough to test out the early access Android app and it is fantastic, definitely a lasting and attractive solution for me!

Excited for this - I used supernotes during medical school to organise my notes and haven’t found anything better since. The sharing aspect is especially useful and the ui is clean and easy to use.

@tobias_whetton This looks like an interesting new tool in the tools for thought space. Is there a web version available?
Tobias Whetton
@absamma Yes we started out with a web app. You can jump into Supernotes on any popular modern browser such as Chrome, Safari and Firefox.

Absolutely amazed to see how far supernotes has come. I've been using supernotes as my centralised note taking solution for 2+ years and this new update is a game changer. New editor ✅️ Graph view ✅️ Broadsheet ✅️ Target dates for notes ✅️ Plus more... Is really rewarding to be able to see the entire graph network of my 2000+ notes. Looking back, all my old note taking solutions seem ludicrously outdated now 😅 This update really takes supenotes to the next level and I thoroughly recommended getting started if you haven't already.
