Hey Product Hunt, meet Subscription Day & Calendar – tool for managing all your paid subscriptions in one sleek menu bar app. If you’re drowning in monthly bills, annual fees, trial versions, and one‑time payments, this is for you.
We built Subscription Day to eliminate the chaos of surprise charges and forgotten cancellations. Here’s what makes it stand out:
Visual Calendar: Instantly view the current month and upcoming payments.
Custom Notifications: Set reminders so you never miss a charge.
AI-powered magic import to quickly add your subscriptions from any file with any structure
Statistics: Dive into your projected yearly budget, average monthly costs, and peak spending months with an intuitive radial chart.
Custom own categories: Organize categories the way you like it
Multi-Currency Support: Prices convert on the fly, so your statistics always display in your chosen currency (Support 168 currencies)
Status Management: Seamlessly mark subscriptions as canceled or active, with accurate updates in your stats.
Quick Addition: Start typing a service name and our smart auto‑suggest kicks in with logos, categories, and colors – plus, swap logos easily with drag & drop.
Data Export: Effortlessly import and export your subscription data in CSV.
Apple Reminders integration so you never miss a notification even when away from your computer
🙈 Secret Bonus: Try shaking the PRO purchase window for a fun Easter egg
The app is FREE, but comes with limitations. We’ve prepared 5 free PRO licenses for ProductHunt community, which I’ll be giving out at the end day to those who share great improvement ideas, ask interesting questions, or simply provide detailed feedback on their experience with the product. 🙏
This is exactly what my chaotic list of subscriptions needed—everything right in the menu bar! Does it let you set reminders before renewals sneak up on you? Love the focus here.
@cruise_chen Thanks for the feedback. Yes, of course. Reminders are a basic feature, and you can also set up multiple reminders, for example 1 day before and several days before, to make sure you don’t miss your subscriptions and can cancel them on time if needed.

@cruise_chen I've subscribed to too many AI products lately, and I really need to manage my bills properly.

Hi! Cool idea, but I have a question: do I need to add subscriptions manually?
@dmitrymomot You can use the manual mode with automatic pre-filling, or in the paid version activate AI import, which allows you to quickly import your subscriptions from any file with any structure in just seconds.
Report
@dmitriychuta do you plan to add integrations with apple, paypal, or maybe bank accounts to track subscriptions automatically?
@dmitrymomot Yes, as soon as it becomes possible and once platforms start providing such information. But I don’t think that will happen anytime soon, since it’s not in their interest to do so. On the contrary, they try to hide it as deeply as possible and make the cancellation process complicated.

💡 Bright idea
Hi!
The greatest barrier to adoption at the moment appears to be the method of entry. There's an assumption that many users already have a consolidated document to upload, but those who do tend to have less need for a product like this.
Some ideas to consider that could help lower this barrier to entry:
- One-Time Email Connection: Imagine being able to connect your email account for a quick scan that imports all your existing subscriptions effortlessly.
- Forwarding Feature: Implement a forwarding email address (similar to TripIt) that allows users to simply forward their subscription emails. For instance, mysubs@subscription.day
- Smart Categorisation: Subscriptions could be automatically categorised based on the originating email. As someone who manages multiple businesses, each with its own finance@companyname.com address, it would be incredibly helpful if I could forward an email from finance@abc.com to mysubs@subscription.day and have it automatically categorised under ABC.
I also noticed that the app fails to retrieve logos for lesser-known apps successfully. The solutions above reveal the app URLS, enabling you to fetch logos directly via the URL instead of relying only on app names. :)

A couple more suggestions:
Surface deals and promotions for used apps before renewals, helping users save money on subscriptions.
Recommendation engine for alternatives that achieve the same fucntions but are cheaper. A good example would be recommendations for windows management apps.
I personally rank my subscriptions by usage frequency. When it comes time for culling, the least-used ones are cancelled first.
Finally, since many AI tools share overlapping features, users could achieve significant savings by consolidating services or focusing on essential tools only—such recommendations would be extremely valuable. As an example, I have Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Sider subscriptions. However, for most regular users, Sider, which provides access to multiple models, should be sufficient.
@veronism 💛💛Thank you for such detailed feedback and your ideas, I will definitely implement some of them in future updates. If you haven’t purchased PRO yet, I’d like to gift you a lifetime license. Just send me your email here or in one of the social networks, and I’ll send you a promo code

@dmitriychuta That's fantastic! Please send it to -. I can't wait to see these ideas come to life!
@busmark_w_nika Thank you for your support, Nika. I think this product will be a perfect fit for you. By the way, in a couple of updates there will be a feature that lets you create two separate calendars for personal and business subscriptions, so they don’t get mixed together.
Congrats! There has always been a need for a product that can centrally manage paid subscriptions! The visual calendar allows you to keep track of all paid product times at a glance. Want to know if Subscription Day will be automatically recorded just by subscribing to a certain product? Or need to manually bind it?
@wayne_appgrowing At the moment, there’s no way to do this automatically, but there are a couple of options:
Manual method: add them by hand. Right now, data entry works in a semi-automatic mode. You just need to click on a day, start typing the name, and the rest of the details will be pulled in automatically, leaving you to only specify the price.
PRO version with AI import: many people keep their subscription lists in Google Sheets or Notion. With this option, you can import that file and add all your subscriptions within seconds.
The app is great, but I had to delete because of this issue a few months ago. Installed the latest version and the issue is still there. Do you have any plans on fixing it?:
@lane_en Yes, This was fixed a few versions ago. Just completely remove the app using AppCleaner or CleanMyMac and then reinstall the new version this issue shouldn’t occur anymore. Let me know if it doesn’t help.
@bill_663 Glad you liked it, I also keep forgetting all the time, that’s why I created this app

This is an app that does one job and does it well. No fluff. The menu bar access is perfect. The auto-suggest with logos when adding a new subscription? That’s the kind of thoughtful detail that shows the builders actually use this stuff themselves.
The Apple Reminders integration is a killer feature for me. It means the alert will follow me to my phone, not just sit on my computer. That’s how you make sure a cancellation never gets missed. Simple, smart, and useful.
@m_qasim67 Thank you for such a rating and detailed feedback. By the way, in two weeks the iOS version will be released, making it even more convenient to track subscriptions and receive notifications. Integration with Apple Reminders is already available to help compensate for this. I’m glad you liked it.

@dmitriychuta Nice product, definitely useful since I don't want to spend money on subscriptions for product I'm not using.
