Taking Virtual Cards Even Further — Smarter Controls for Real-World Spend 💳
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
Building on the conversations around our Virtual Card feature, we wanted to highlight another practical benefit teams are finding useful lately:
Every card has a single purpose. No mix-ups, no unclear transactions.
Unauthorized purchases simply can’t happen. If the card isn’t approved for the vendor, it won’t go through.
Budgets stay exactly where you set them. Limits are locked in, and alerts tell you the moment a transaction happens.
Teams using this are saying it’s becoming their “default” way to issue new cards because there’s no worry about someone accidentally using the wrong card or spending outside the scope.
🔍 What’s next?
We’re exploring deeper project-level controls — so teams can issue a card for a project, track spend automatically, and retire the card when the project ends.
💬 Curious to know:
Would project-based virtual cards be useful for your team? If yes, what would you expect them to do?
