When you launched on a product hunt, what successes did it bring you?
The most common success that I noticed with several makers during launch day was:
an enormous increase in traffic or
being featured in a newsletter (Product Hunt newsletter)
What other benefits did you feel when launching a product on the platform?
Those of you who won a badge, did it bring you other successes?
For example, purchases, reaching out to VCs, collaborations, writing about you in mass media?

It has been a long time since I launched something, but I've noticed launches very closely from the passenger seat.
Apart from the usual spike in traffic, these are the things common in almost all the products:
New users and early adopters willing to give feedback (genuinely)
Credibility! Having a PH badge on the website makes conversions and investor outreach easier.
Valuable introductions (some VCs, some collaborators)
Social proof for future marketing (big plus if your ICP is aware of or related to PH)
A few media mentions and blog features that wouldn’t have happened otherwise...
Even if it doesn't always translate to instant sales, it definitely opens doors and gives momentum to keep building and connecting.

@busmark_w_nika We landed on #3 in Product of the day when I saw a PH launch for the first time, and it led to an angel investor here in India.
