What's a product that you discovered on Product Hunt that has changed your life?

I’ve been on this platform for almost three years without interruption, reviewing dozens of products every day. I try many of them, but only a few have become part of my daily routine, ones I can’t imagine living without.

I will pin, for example, 3 of them:

@TabMagic - Bookmark & Tab Manager – I no longer need 500 tabs open; I can “save” them to my dashboard and close my entire browser.

@Buyerstage: Smart Links & Content Pods – I save things from LinkedIn to an extension and organise them in a system.

@Tidyread – Every day, I get a summary of news from the sites I follow.

Which products on Product Hunt were game-changers for you and a "good bargain?"

For me Product Hunt it'self changed my life

I was building notion templates and launched them on product hunt. They did good, made money, one got acquired, PH workbook is one of our best selling products.

Nika

@karthik_tatikonda Congrats :) I think you have so good PH journey :)

Kai
@karthik_tatikonda I agree. Product Hunt offers a valuable community for discovering new products and connecting with talented makers.
Nika

@karthik_tatikonda  @chengka7 Hopefully this community will grow.

Interesting picks 👌 For me, Notion AI and Readwise are the two I’d call ‘good bargains’ from PH.

Nika

@abod_rehman I probably missed, Readwise, but now opened their website :) It looks like a pretty interesting product :)

Anastasia Liamets

@Screen Studio for me! The best video recording tool

Nika

@anliamets I need to say that this one scaled pretty well. I am jealous that I didn't get this idea. 😅

fmerian

definitely @v0 by Vercel — I recently started playing around with it and really enjoy the experience.

full disclosure: I'm part of the v0 Ambassador Program.

Nika

@fmerian Aren't you their ambassador? 😅

fmerian

absolutely. I became an ambassador later on, because I fell in love with the product 🙃

Nika

@fmerian I think that you remember how you once shared that form that people could sign up. :D

There are so many good ones, but for me, Notion and Readwise both started as experiments and are now daily essentials. I kinda knew about Notion, but started using it after reading about it here. Readwise is great too, keeping my highlights actually useful! Hard to imagine my workflow without them now.

Nika

@sanskarix These two must be really good because someone already mentioned it before in this Thread :)

Sanskar Yadav

Oh yes, I just saw @abod_rehman's comment, two exactly the same tools :D

Krishna Gupta

@Supabase made starting out small apps really easy

Nika

@krishna_gupta51 uuu, I remember them 2 yrs ago, they weren't so known but they are doing a great job and now hear about them quite often :)

Krishna Gupta
@busmark_w_nika yes exactly

Crazy pick. For me product around @heyeaslo Notion's templates has changed the way I organize things.

Nika

@heyeaslo  @twinkal_shah1 When you mentioned Notion, I remember that once someone launched a quite playful profile Notion-style image generator. I liked that one too! :D

twinkal Shah

@heyeaslo  @busmark_w_nika Ahh that was the classic one which I used quite a bit.

Esther George
Notion and Canva for me 😊😊 Nowadays, I think I can't breathe without Canva 😂😂it's just too good Plus I love how I always discover new features
Nika

@george_esther Have you also tried Figma? I also used Canva, but when I learnt Figma, I have never gone back. :D

Esther George
@busmark_w_nika I'd make sure to check it out. Anything to make life easier 😊thank you
Nika

@george_esther You are welcome :)

These aren't necessarily Product Hunt software, but here are my daily drivers:

  1. Workona Tab Suspender chrome extension. Keeps my computer running smooth even when I'm deep diving into something and have 100 tabs open.

  2. Checker Plus For Gmail chrome extension. I get notifications for my emails and calendar in a very lightweight package. No more Gmail hogging up GBs of RAM.

  3. Better Touch Tool for Mac. Being able to create custom shortcuts, especially on an app specific level is really nice. I also get a lot of value from the clipboard manager.

  4. Notion and ChatGPT, of course.

Nika

@giancarlo_byrne Pretty valid :) Does Checker Plus filter emails according to importance?

Giancarlo Byrne

@busmark_w_nika You can change the settings so that it only shows emails from certain categories, labels, important, pretty much by any mark you can add to an email from Gmail.

Nika

@giancarlo_byrne aaa, good to know.

I’m biased, but Bolta.ai hits different (AI SMM) 💖

Nika

@luciavaldivia Is it a planner, right?
