2nd Product Of The Day. Again. 8 Months Apart 😻

On Saturday, we hit #2 Product of the Day. Again.
Eight months after our first launch.

Thank you to everyone who voted for Pretty Prompt. It genuinely means a lot to us.

Today I’m not just celebrating the ranking.
I’m celebrating consistency.

On May 31st, we shipped an MVP.
A real “let’s see what happens” version.

It took 80 versions to get to Pretty Prompt v1.0.
Still just two founders.
Still scrappy.
Still building in public.

And we made it to 2nd Product of the Day (over Vercel and Google 🙃)

Getting to #1 is cool.
But hitting the same spot again is harder.

A few things this second launch reinforced for us:

• Consistency compounds.

More than getting it right the first time.
More than having a big brand.
More than knowing how to code.

• Community is where brand actually starts.

Your users become your marketing.
Your upvotes. Your word of mouth.
Answer every comment personally.
People care that the founders care

• Simplicity is harder than shipping features.

We shipped a lot, but what people still care about is simple:
“This just makes my prompts better.”

Sharing this in a simple way is still a work in progress.
Remember: PMF is not just Product Market Fit. It's also Positioning Market Fit.
