Building PingPolls Together With Our Users
We realized that while most online services are getting more effortless to use, form builders have stayed the same. Most forms are still slow to build and boring to fill out.
Part of the problem is the mental model people have for online forms. Most people expect something like Google Forms, even though its format is not how people actually spend their time. We are much more comfortable with the chat format we use every day on WhatsApp or ChatGPT.
This is why we shift the standard to our chat format, because it matches how people usually communicate. Instead of facing walls of questions, you interact with text bubbles.
This chat style provides a natural interaction with minimal cognitive load. By making the interaction feel familiar, we increase the response rates and the honesty of the answers.
To help us develop PingPolls further, we want to talk more with the people using the tool. We have started a Discord server for rapid information sharing and feedback. If you have ever felt ignored by your own forms or you are tired of chasing people for input, come hang out with us.
We look forward to developing PingPolls together with you.
