Dear PH community,
Next week marks six months of Ting - and it would feel wrong not to do something special here, where it all started.
Product Hunt has a permanent place in Ting lore, so we’re bringing something back next Thursday, just for this community...
Since our launch, AI scheduling has really taken off. YC-backed Vela shipped a few weeks ago, Sequoia backed BlockIt yesterday, and there’s a growing wave of smart human brains and agents trying to save everyone time and stress.
It reminds me of my favourite Apple ad of all time:
Not because we’re Steve Jobs (although I do love roll necks) or having Apple’s impact on the world (maybe one day) - but because when you care about saving people time and bringing people together, there’s room for everyone pushing the space forward.
The pie gets bigger, not you lose a slice.
We’re grateful (and excited) to be riding that wave with you.

@shreya_chaurasia19 So many learnings - you'll see a lot of those in the launch next week, but TL;DR - just like getting a real assistant, there's a learning curve, people are so used to doing it themselves, having an AI EA on email is easy to forget, sometimes guests aren't sure how to respond when they see it's AI, when it works people think it's magic, when it fails or hallucinates it is bad because it blocks an important meeting, and finally people are unsure how intelligent it is, like expecting GPT full functionality vs. vertical focus on the tasks at hand.
