Hey Product Hunt, so excited to launch & open-source 15 new dev tools!
It's wild β the online utils devs use every day are cluttered with ads.
So, we made an ad-free, open source, light & simple alternative.
This all started at a team dinner ββ thanks to the amazing idea by @preston_pham to build our own set of tools with a better dev experience than the tools we were all using every day.
They could be client-side + fast, ad-free + uncluttered, and we could open-source them too.
Since that dinner, any time we needed a util weβd just add it to our stack. So far weβre at 15 tools! (and weβve already got our first community contribution, thanks @cassidoo for an awesome .env to netlify.toml converter!)
So excited to open source it and share with you today! π
Check it out at jam.dev/utilities or view the source at github.com/jamdotdev/jam-dev-utilities.
Which tool do you want to see added next?

@preston_pham@cassidoo@thedanigrant Seriously, from personal experience, most of the products I use have ads. The fact that this one doesn't have any is already a win! It takes real determination to resist the temptation of profit. I really admire the team for this decision.
Love the Jam team and everything they push.
Offering all of these utilities at no cost is a gift for the rest of us.
Thanks @thedanigrant and Jam team!
Great launch, @thedanigrant! Really appreciate the effort put into creating these lightweight utilities. It's refreshing to see an ad-free solution that prioritizes a smooth dev experience. I'm excited to try them out, especially the cmd+k search feature! Looking forward to seeing more tools added to the stack. Kudos to the whole team for making this happen and also to @preston_pham for the initial idea! π
Congrats on the launch, @thedanigrant! π It's about time we had some lightweight, ad-free tools to make our dev lives easier. The cmd+k search feature sounds like a game-changer for quick access. Can't wait to try out all 15 utilities! Any chance you'll be adding a data visualization tool next? That would be awesome! Keep up the great work!
Love this and that it is open source π₯°
Also side not, this got me to discover Jam (good job here eheh π) and I almost miss my job in a company so I could receive beautiful bug reports like this and not having to answer the usual "screenshots plz" π
Thank you for focusing on the developer experience!!! I can see this being the go-to resource for devs ππ»π₯³ super slick and clean UI too π and congrats on already being a Series A start up ππΌπ§‘
