Long time GTM seller and leader, now AI nerd
by•
I'm in the back half of my career, the first half spent in sales-related roles and Sales/CS leadership. I was always a technical person, but never a developer or engineer. Then AI hit, I leaned in hard, knowing that this was a race to learn before other people figured things out. Long story short, AI lowered the developer/engineer bar, and I'm now head of AI Innovation at my company and loving it. Who knows where this leads, but I'm loving getting paid to play with AI and build Innovation plays as my full-time job.

New tools like Clay help a lot to non-tech sales people: so much time saved on prospecting! As the head of AI innovation, what stacks and tools would you recommend for GTM?
@davidkaufmann People.ai (Shameless plug for my company but its high end Rev Tech). Slack, Salesforce, n8n, Claude, OpenAI, Ramp, Lattice, Atlassian, G Suite, Customer.io, Intercom and a handful of other tools.
@trackslife cool, thanks for this roundup. Peopl.ai indeed looks like a revops tool for mid-market to enterprise companies. I was wondering if you had suggestions for smaller guys like us, who in fact need a clean and efficient outreach experimentation process. Also, what exactly do you build in n8n?
@davidkaufmann I have n8n doing real enterprise work tasks but also blending work and life, for example, I get a morning email showing me my day and even putting time blocks on my calendar to do things on my task list(Trello). It's one of 2 dozen things I use n8n for, but I love the blend of work and life I can easily connect.
