I finally shipped. Took 6 months. Feels weird.
I've been working on this project for 6 months (nights and weekends at first, then full-time for the last 3).
Today I officially launched it.
What's weird about shipping:
Part of me feels proud (I actually built something people pay for)
Part of me feels like a fraud (who am I to build this?)
Part of me is relieved (it's done, I can stop tweaking every pixel)
Part of me is terrified (what if tomorrow flops and all this work was for nothing?)
I soft-launched 5 months ago and somehow got 20 paying customers in 3 days, which still blows my mind. But tomorrow's the "official" launch—Product Hunt, directories, all of it.
The truth is: I've lurked here for months watching you all ship amazing projects. I
kept thinking "I'll launch when it's perfect."
But perfect never came. So I'm just... doing it.
I'll update this post tomorrow with how it went.
Wish me luck.
