Has AI image and video generation actually affected your business yet?

by

AI visuals are suddenly everywhere and much easier to make. I’m curious what’s been the real impact for “makers”.

Has it actually affected your team and budget? Did you hire fewer designers, work with freelancers less, or did it mostly just speed up and improve the same process?

From our experience, AI definitely makes production faster and frees up time for more creative work. But when you need something truly unique and high quality, human taste and experienced creators still matter a lot. If not even more now, as easier access to tools also means a lot more mediocre results and the poor quality we’ve all been seeing across the internet lately.

What changed the most for you, or not really yet?

For context, Glam AI is an all-in-one AI platform for image and video generation. We add new trendy effects and ready-to-use templates every day, and we have 15+ highly experienced content creators on the team who pick concepts, test variations, and refine quality.

As a designer who uses AI every day, I can say that most AI tools only seem simple. It may look like you can press a couple of buttons and the content is ready, but without visual literacy, experience and an understanding of composition, context and the actual task, AI produces weak results. In the end, people still spend hours tweaking settings, regenerating outputs, and fixing details

I think it really depends on the team and how high the quality bar is. In my projects, the biggest impact has been on simple tasks — AI sped those up a lot. But for anything that requires real craft and judgment, we still rely on professionals, or in the case of Glam AI, the experienced creators behind the tool.

I mostly work with texts but of course a naked text without illustration is not a go this days — attention is a currency many companies and individuals compete for, and a picture or a short video is that attention catcher which I need when I write a LinkedIn post or posts in my robotics blog on Telegram. Now, I can create images and videos with effects I want in seconds without hiring a designer, paying hundreds dollars, or waiting for days to get the visuals (which I might not even like). It makes my professional workflow much more smooth, and I don't need to think about legal clearance for images I use, as it's all generated by me based on my original pictures and ideas. GlamAI is one of the tools I use for that a lot!
