Some of you set resolutions for this year, and soon you’ll be looking back to see how well you did.
Before that moment comes, what do you want to finish or achieve in this final month?
As for me:
– I’ve got some travel coming up, so I’ll need to create content in advance (the Product Hunt content is done – now I just need to finish the newsletter and LinkedIn posts)
– plan the trip
– sort through the YouTube videos I filmed about marketing and edit them
– maybe order a few more books for language learning

For me, it's:
- Finish reading a book that I haven't touched in a while
- Work on my soft skills
- Finish designing my MVP
- Also, I have to write two essays this month to publish on Medium

@busmark_w_nika I write reflective essays about the complexities of family, memory, and personal growth, through personal experiences and little observations.
As for the book, I was reading 'The Paradox of Choice' by Barry Schwartz. I was reading this because the project I'm working on falls under behavioral fintech and I think it is important that I understand at least a bit of behavioral economics and gain knowledge in this domain.
Recommendations on books are welcome here, too :)

@charlene_zh1 I'm a fairly new writer on Medium. I have only a few stories published there, and I don't really do much to promote my page. The claps or comments I get are usually from people who randomly found my story or from people who have subscribed to the publication I send my essay to.
So, yeah, it is organic traffic, I'd say.

I've hit a 50 day streak on Product hunt today. I'm starting to see the real value of showing up here. I'm keeping the streak alive, doubling down time and effort i put in here. Also, scaling my app towards 1k downloads this December.

How do you stay consistent with content while traveling? Any tips?

@abod_rehman I prepare it in advance for the number of days I am on travel, and then only post. I prepared PH content for 14 days in advance and finished my preparation on the last Friday :)
I’ll be spending most of this month getting a couple of new features ready for launch in my startup. Trying to wrap things up before the year ends so we can kick off 2026 strong. Also getting more involved in community discussions.
And I hope the rest of you find a bit of peace and progress in this last stretch of 2025.

That's a solid plan, Nika! Getting ahead on content and trip planning will make your travel much more relaxing. Good luck with the language books too! 📚
My personal December is shaping up to be a mix of finishing up and kicking off something new:
Finish Up: I have to get through a big travel planning project for a trip in early January, similar to you. Also, I need to finalize the finishing touches on a major home improvement project (mostly dealing with contractors, the least fun part!).
Kick Off: The most exciting part—I'm finally diving into starting a side business related to custom mechanical keyboards. I want to lock down the supplier, establish the branding (maybe I need to try X-Design 2.0 for that!), and get the initial landing page coded.
It sounds like both of us are aiming to tick off some big items before the year closes!
What's the hardest part about batching content for you—is it the filming or the editing?

@tony_hsieh2 When it comes to video content, there were two most difficult parts:
Memorise the script and talking by heart (I cannot use a teleprompter, because I couldn't see properly) :D and choosing those good videos from the failed ones (filtering them) :D
I am going to ship some products just before the Xmas. December is the quiet time on PH so it's perfect for early product validation.
