folkX, by folk - Build lists of contacts, from anywhere

Hey — Thibaud, CEO of folk here. Contacts are everywhere on the web and spread across many different platforms (email, LinkedIn, Twitter, and more). I know relationships are key for businesses, be it managing investors, candidates, leads, clients, and more. And to manage them the right way, you need to centralize them all in one place. Nothing is as painful as repetitive copy pasting and manual entries to keep your contacts database up to date. This is why we have created folkX, the chrome extension that lets you build lists in folk instantly and directly from the tools you already use. It works on LinkedIn, Gmail, Twitter, Instagram, and basically everywhere else.

Last year I did all of this on google sheets. In the beginning, I was maintaining the google sheet properly (noting down their position in one column, their company in one, when did I first message them in one column, any mutual connection to them in one etc). But after like 50 leads I just kept pasting the link in one column and leaving it as it is. The google sheet became incomprehensible to everyone in my team and sometimes for me as well. Will definitely be a user of folk once we get into selling/pitching again.

Congrats on what you're building at Folk - it's the best data entry experience I've had so far with any software. 1. cmd+K to add Contacts, automatic addition of company Logos, ... all the details make it really fast 2. FolkX is very handy to create lists of new targets 3. Automatically matching profiles with other channels like email is great 4. Recognition of Duplicates, Imports of lists ... Keep shipping so many great features!

Folk is definitely my go-to tool to store my contacts , enrich them and send all my emails. FolkX is the secret-sauce that allow me to store a contact everytime I need it from Twitter, LinkedIn or my Gmail Inbox. thanks Folks team for that , you are building an amazing product.

Most CRMs requiure everyone to "import" or "synch" your contacts, notes and fileds updates asynch ; for the sake of having an "up to date CRM". Because we are all consuming software and interacting with our contacts directly in a browser, it is wonderful to have a browser extension that helps you keep your contacts & contacts lists up to date - easy and without any hastle - staying in your browser. Congrats @tiboel and @simolemhandez for the launch !

A super easy way to capture contact info from any platform in exactly just 2 clicks and keep it neatly organized and centralized in Folk. The UX is really good and FolkX extends the Folk experience everywhere so I don't have to switch context and websites anymore. Congrats on the launch! 💪
