What’s the last app you tried to build for fun?

Not for work. We're talking side projects, experiments, hackathon ideas, etc. What was it, what tools did you use and how far did you get?

The last app that I built just for the vibes was Chronos Duo, a digital chess clock. I was able to go from learning what a chess clock was to building one in like 30 minutes, which is truly insane. Chronos Duo in Action

Pure vibes to solve a relatively simple personal problem that was taking up too much brain space- I'm in the process of moving, and my partner and I both work a lot. With my Type A tendencies / craziness, I wanted a solution that kept both of us on track with moving to-dos, what we need to order/purchase, admin, etc. I asked Dreamflow for a juiced up to-do app that was collaborative amongst a group and oh my! We love it. It provides sliceable views of tasks and items by person, timeline, status, etc. Sure, I could have done this on an Excel spreadsheet (and I did to start) - but having it easily accessible in an app is GREAT.

A wedding map generator! The idea is sometimes people like to include a little insert with their wedding invitations that shows where the venue is and maybe some fun activities nearby (we did this for our wedding). So basically build the map with the POIs, screenshot it, and use AI image models to stylize it a bit :)

I built a mini version of Geometry Dash in DreamFlow, and it only took 4 prompts. I was genuinely impressed by how quickly the core gameplay came together. Within minutes, I had a playable prototype with the jump-and-avoid mechanics working smoothly.
