Cursor 1.7 is here! Introducing autocomplete for agent, hooks, team rules, ability to share prompts with deeplinks, and more. Look forward to hearing what you think!
This is clever. All typing happens in the agent chat window now days anyways. I haven't manually touched code in 6 months 😅 In fact touching code is more risky than having an agent touch it, as you get supercharged editing with agents. I personally use Cline. Due to favourable pricing. But fix pricing and I would definitely switch back!
Team rules is a game changer → no more copy/pasting our individuals rules into our Slack #dev channel 😂

@monzures how do you manage with different rules for frontend and backend? Or when a developer works with different code?

The cursor makes me extremely excited when writing code. Especially for the secondary development and learning of third-party SDKs, it can quickly provide knowledge points, draw architecture diagrams, and outline the learning path, significantly reducing costs. I really like it and give it a thumbs up!
Custom hooks + team rules = pure dev ops gold. The agent autocomplete already feels like second nature. Cursor keeps raising the bar.
