Our Story & Mission
We’re a small team on a mission: to help you work smarter, find your focus and flow, and reclaim time for the things you love.
A Special Offer
Enjoy plenty of free credits during our beta launch. As a special thanks to our Product Hunt community, use code "LAUNCH30" for 30% off subscriptions through the end of August 2025.
We'd Love Your Feedback!
This launch is all about learning from you. Please feel free to share any feedback and thoughts below, or email us directly at product@computerx.ai
Thank you for checking out ComputerX—can't wait to see what you build too! 🎉
@agilek Thank you for your question! Right now, you can head to your account page to check pricing information. We value transparency and will ensure our pricing is clearly displayed on our website soon.
To be transparent, we're still finalizing things — we're a small team using Product Hunt as a launchpad to gather early users to help shape our product and pricing structure. We're currently transitioning from our free beta to a freemium model, and we'll update our website's pricing information once this transition is complete.
Currently, we have a freemium model in place that gives all new users 1,500 free credits to try ComputerX. For additional credits, we offer a Standard subscription at $19.99/month, which includes 5,000 monthly credits. We also offer standalone credit packs which never expire.
Thanks for your input—we hope this helps!

Like having a smart assistant sitting inside your computer. Super useful for quick tasks, research, and generating reports. The transparency of how it works is a big plus.
Would be great to have a “task history” tab to revisit or build on previous actions.
Congrats on the launch—this feels like a real productivity booster!
🎉 Congratulations on the launch of ComputerX on Product Hunt @sherryruan ! It's fantastic to see a tool designed to tackle busywork and enhance productivity! 🚀 The ability to automate various tasks just by typing in simple language is a game-changer for users like makers, designers, and researchers.
I love the versatility you offer—creating everything from web apps to interactive charts makes it so powerful! 💡
One suggestion I would recommend is to incorporate some form of template gallery. This could help users quickly access and customize pre-designed outputs, further speeding up their workflow.
Looking forward to experimenting with ComputerX and seeing how it evolves! Keep up the great work! 😄 What are you most excited about in the upcoming features?
Really loving the showcase section on the ComputerX site—so cool to see how others are putting AI to work in creative ways :) Big congrats on the launch!
@auroraw Thanks for exploring the showcase! Seeing makers push AI in fresh directions is exactly why we built ComputerX. More community-powered templates are on deck—stay tuned. 🚀
@omkaar_mahapatro Thanks for asking — great question! While Manus AI focuses on general-purpose tasks, ComputerX is built specifically for automation and time-saving workflows. For example, you can build and schedule automations to track product prices or monitor company updates, which is especially useful for tedious or research-heavy use cases.
We're also expanding into deeper computer-level automation to handle tasks that current tools like Zapier or n8n can't easily manage. You can check out a quick demo of this in action here:
— it gives a glimpse into how our computer-use agent operates directly in a virtual computer to autonomously perform complex, multi-step tasks. This is the future of human–agent collaboration we're envisioning.

Congratulations 🥳 ComputerX team! 🙌 This sounds like exactly what many of us have been waiting for—an AI agent that actually gets things done without the usual complexity.
Love that you're focusing on transparency and showing the reasoning process rather than keeping it in a black box! 🔍✨
The cross-platform availability is a huge plus, especially with full mobile support for those of us always on the go 📱. The versatility in output formats (HTML, PDF, Excel) really sets it apart from other tools in the space.
I'm particularly curious: How does ComputerX handle complex, multi-step workflows that might require iteration or human input along the way? For example, if I'm researching a market and need to refine my approach based on initial findings? 🤔
Just watched your demo video—really impressive how seamlessly it handles different types of tasks! 🎥 One suggestion: It would be cool to see a feature where users can save and share their favorite workflows or templates with the community. Could create some amazing use cases we haven't even thought of yet! 💡
Thanks for the generous beta credits and the LAUNCH30 code—definitely going to give this a try! Best of luck with the launch! 🚀
@ajay_kumar_yadav4 Thank you for the feedback! We've made a simple sharing feature—once a task is complete, just click the “Share” button and choose “Share with the ComputerX community.” After a quick review, your work will appear on our homepage for others to explore. Let us know if you have any suggestions for improvement!
I just tried out ComputerX, and I'm impressed. It does the work instead of just giving you suggestions or links, huge time saver. I used it for some quick data research and exporting a summary, and it delivered the results accurately. That builds trust.
Overall, feels like a solid tool for anyone juggling too much work.
@patpijanowski Thanks so much! We do have a Mac app available, and you can select which folder the agent has access to and can write files to. We've also been exploring adding more MCP integrations to support deeper customization.
Would love to hear what kind of customizations you're thinking about? 😊

I may have rushed my reading is this full desktop automation or purely web?
@masikh Great question! This launched version is web-only. Earlier this year, we built a full desktop automation prototype — here’s a video demo:
. That said, the current computer use foundation model doesn’t yet meet the reliability and performance standards we’d need for a production desktop agent, so we’re actively researching how to improve its performance to make it truly usable.

@sherryruan thanks for responding. It certainly feels like a more "difficult" problem to solve. The standardisation of APIs just isn't there. I did a rather large RPA project on a niche legacy windows app recently and I was just wishing there was an AI to sufficiently handle it the whole time. Had to resort to OCR etc at certain points.
@masikh Yup, API standardization is still lacking, and so much of automation today relies on fragile workarounds.
Today, the foundation model for computer use isn't fully matured yet — people are still working through challenges like accuracy, latency, and cost. But we're optimistic. With the rapid progress in VLMs, we believe the automation problem can be fundamentally solved by letting models operate on the front end like a human does — seeing, understanding, and acting directly on the screen. Exciting times ahead!
