ArchitectGBT – How I went from zero to 31 beta users under two months
Hey everyone.
Quick update on ArchitectGBT since I posted about this two months back.
I'm a solo founder building this nights and weekends while working full-time. Being a dad means I don't have unlimited hours, so I built ArchitectGBT to solve a real problem I have constantly: picking the right AI model.
Last 30 days I focused on two things. First, finishing the payment setup. Still testing that to make sure it works correctly. Second, getting real people to actually test the product.
Got 31 people on the waitlist. That's real validation. How did I get them? I talked about the actual problem in relevant communities. Turns out a lot of developers have the same frustration I do, spending hours comparing AI model docs, pricing sheets, and benchmarks when they just want to build something.
What ArchitectGBT does: You describe what you're building. I tell you which AI model to use, the exact cost, and give you production-ready code to start immediately. Also works in your IDE (tested in claude & cursor) via MCP.
I'm still actively looking for more beta testers. People who will actually use it, find what's broken, tell me what doesn't work. That's the feedback I need right now.
Payment setup is almost there. Once that's solid, beta group gets early access first.
