Appwrite - 100% open source alternative for Firebase

Love the product from day 1 (since 0.10 I think !) It helped us build https://thumbup.tech focusing most of our effort on the front and (almost) letting appwrite do the heavy work backend side. We loved especially how functions work. It's basically where you can put all your backend logic in. So far we haven't been limited in using functions. Kudos to the Appwrite community on github which is super responsive, kind & helpful ! Kudos to @eldad_fux for starting this project !

I started working on Appwrite in 2019 to abstract the complexity of software development so I can focus on creating value, and more importantly, have fun writing code. Appwrite brings an improved concept of BaaS. For me, the custom functions are amazing ✌🏻

Been a huge supporter of Appwrite for over a year, championing it even at the companies I was working at. Their community is second-to-none (the envy of other BaaS services on the market), speed of feature release is exceptional, and the support in their Discord is incredible. This will be one of the key pillars of the future dev world - @eldad_fux and team are going to go far!

Its awesome and a great setup with storages procedures

I just migrated a project from Firebase to Appwrite: Authentication, Users, Databases and Storage. And I can't be more in love with it. Just awesome how it is build and also presented to the user. Great UI too. So simple and with lots of features. Stop reading this, just go and try!!
