I ve been doing some research on weather apps and I ve been digging into what actually drives people to use other weather apps when they have already have the default ones.

If you use an Apple Watch, let s talk about the complications we actually use every day.

I ll start with the one I check the most.
For me, it s the Day and Night complication from Weather mini.

Home screen widgets have been around for a while now on both Android and iOS but their design, utility, and popularity seem to vary a lot depending on the platform and user habits.

I thought it might be helpful to open a discussion here:

• And for something like weather would you prefer a minimal glance, or something richer?
