Longevity tools, the potential of this business model and which ones to use?

Since I've been watching Bryan Johnson's experiments on his body, I've also become interested in tools that help to improve life. (Mainly hardware, but also software.)

In my opinion, more and more people from more developed countries want to improve the quality of their lives, and therefore they are willing to invest quite a lot in these things.

I can see it predominantly in the US market, UK, Canada, Germany, France, and possibly Sweden.

Health problems that are actually good inspiration for new health products.

I ve noticed that many health products have a real chance of getting featured on Product Hunt.

And it makes sense. Health is the most valuable thing we have, so if a product is innovative and genuinely helpful, it should be accessible to as many people as possible.

Answering all your questions about health trackers - AMA with CEO of Movitalis

Hi everyone!

I am the CEO of Movitalis, an activity tracker focused on longevity. I am here to make noise about my upcoming launch and provide as much value as I can in the process. While building this product I got to learn a lot about activity trackers, important and useless metrics, common mistakes and hidden gems. I've also learnt what the science has to say about these metrics and trackers, so if you have any questions, fire away!

Why you should be tracking your VO2 max - and how to do it better

Hi all! Movitalis is launching soon and I want to talk about one of the most important but under appreciated fitness indicators: VO2 max.

While it did become more popular lately it is still not widely known that VO2 max is an amazing indicator of overall health and predictor of longevity. In this study of over 1 million participants, a low VO2 max was linked with a 3-5x increase in overall mortality. This is an amazing finding as VO2 max is something we can increase through regular exercise, especially if done correctly.

How do you test your products?

I'm creating a fitness app that uses AI on @Lovable, and I'm also testing it myself.

I use the app daily to check its functions, how it works, and the exercises. If I find something strange or think of something new, I record voice memos with issues, changes, or improvements. I act as both the product manager and a user. Later, I listen to these notes and make the changes.

New Discussion: Do You Enjoy Using Tracking Apps to Monitor Your Health?
In this digital age, we have an app for almost everything and tracking our health is no exception. From monitoring our steps to logging our meals, there seems to be an endless array of options at our fingertips. But I'm curious, do you actually enjoy using these tracking apps for your health? Whether it's a fitness tracker that counts every mile you run, a food diary app that scrutinizes each calorie, or a sleep monitor analyzing your night's rest how do you feel about using technology to keep tabs on your personal wellness? Some questions to consider: -Do you find health tracking apps beneficial and motivating, or do they sometimes feel like a chore? -Have you experienced positive changes in your health habits since you started using these types of apps? -How does the data from these apps influence your daily decisions about diet, exercise, and overall well-being? -What features do you love in a health tracking app, and what would you like to see improved? I'd love to hear your thoughts, experiences, and even your recommendations for health tracking apps. Let's kickstart this conversation and dive into the tech side of staying healthy! Looking forward to your responses!
