All of us want customers on our platforms. However, a sign-up is very different from an engaged user who keeps returning and finding value over time.
Creating the right user experience, without being too intrusive, spammy, or in your face , can significantly improve engagement, increase conversions, and reduce churn. In my experience, a platform s success is defined far more by its active users than by the total number of people who have ever signed up.
Below are a few approaches I ve seen work well, along with some that haven t been as effective.

Whenever I m about to buy something (especially something more expensive), I can be easily influenced by recommendations from people I trust and know. That might be well-known accounts on X or suggestions from friends.
Or, I go and read the reviews.

The more information and ads we re exposed to, the more resistant we become.
(It s literally impossible to absorb everything, so our brains just filter most of it out.)
BUT there s always that one exception.

No, at this time, I do not mean social media but something like an enclosed community for the core (top-tier customers).
On Friday, I had a call with a marketing manager at @Crisp and he mentioned this thing.I know there are more companies that are trying to create more personal connections with paying clients and network among themselves. I love community management, wanna learn from the best and apply the best practices.
