Prefinery = Pretooling...

Part of our initial GTM plan was to use a clubhouse-style waitlist and make Myaigi invite-only to build buzz and exclusivity. It also fits into our model (we don't want people who aren't all in to use our tool and be disappointed)
"you have to really want your goal, not just Kinda want it".

So we did a ton of research and Prefinery came out on top. Viral referral mechanics. Clean embeds. Good analytics. $49 a month (not 25K) so definitely affordable. Sign us up Scotty, confident we'd made the right call. (Ed-Sabs: We did make the right call. At the time)

How likely is AGI in the next five years? A look at money vs. science

I came across Deutsche Bank s latest report on AI, and it sparked an interesting thought experiment: how likely is it that we ll see AGI (AI that thinks and learns like a human) within the next five years?

The report highlights a fascinating divergence: the view from money vs. the view from science.

  • Money: the probability inferred from trillions poured into data centers, Nvidia chips, and servers. Investors seem to be betting that AGI is inevitable.

  • Science: the probability inferred from research papers and AI development models. Experts are far more cautious, suggesting the realistic probability is only 20%.

X tries to attract more publishers and offer $1M for the best January article

Today I read in the news that X is offering a $1 million prize to the author of the most popular long-form X Article published by January 30, 2026, as part of its push to grow long-form content on the platform.

Eligible articles must be original, at least 1,000 words, and winners will be judged mainly on Verified Home Timeline impressions. Only U.S.-based X Premium subscribers can participate.

Week 1: Four Zeros and the $25000 email. 8-O

Hey everybody,

So as promised, this is the firts of the weekly reviews of the 0-1 journey for Myaigi.

How willing are you to try out a product launched on this platform across devices?

In about 17 days (I hope I m counting correctly), I ll be re-launching the mobile app, and now I m wondering how much the Product Hunt community will try it out.

I spend 100% of my time on a desktop on this platform.

But the majority of the population is mobile-only.

No Devs? Really......

Yep, we aren't smoking our socks either; there's a difference between vibe (vulnerabilities in beta environment) coding and what we're doing. We pre-architect the schema of the entire project, develop detailed PRDs, QA the tasks that come out of that, select testing criteria and frameworks and only then hand over to Cascade.

We build in a lot of qa in the agentic process and we also run codeQL and dependabot on the repo. This way, we're doing the heavy thinking while Cascade does the heavy typing. It's worked so far.......

How we're storytelling +toolset

Hi all,

So, because we decided quite late on, to do the #buildinpublic, I'm going to review our historic notes, emails, and chats, then provide a week-by-week post dealing with the interesting elements for that week. I'm not sure if that's the right way to do it but here's hoping.

The Muse that wants to be a mission

I'm not sure whether it's ok to admit Myaigi started as a muse........ I feel it should've been something bigger and a better story, but well, that's what it is.

So the way this all started was around a Friday night beer.

Chris Messina said we should

Hi everyone,

We've been working on Myaigi for a few months now and had planned to launch in mid jan. We're obviously late with that because........founders and product but we're close. Part of our launch plan involved a consult with Chris and initially we assumed it'd be pretty standard but it was actually a very free flowing session where we got huge value out of his critiques (very brutal critiques; he called our landing page thirsty :) and figured that we needed to do a mini pivot. Part of his other advice was to #buildinpublic so here goes.
