
It's a product with great potential, but currently the API has limited docs, no error reporting, and it's very expensive to use. We tried building a PoC with it, and failed, due to the above issues and a lack of support from D-ID. At this moment I wouldn't advise anyone to use D-ID in production, but if the company professionalizes and reduces API cost it may become a staple for chatbot builders around the world.
